- Mason Treadwell examines Emily's past; Conrad's deal with the Initiative begins to haunt him; Kara's worsening state draws the attention of the Graysons.
- Aiden convinces a grudging Nolan to 'volunteer' proof of father Clark's founder's interest in NolCorp, positioning himself as the ideal lieutenant for Daniel to seize power in Grayson Global. The parents fear the Initiative will wipe them out now their agent Helen Crowley is in the picture, but Victoria decides to down only fighting to the last. Silent bar partner Kenny Ryan quietly brings in his brother Nate, who lusts for revenge on the Porter brothers' father. Amanda is ready to betray Emily to Mason, but they are overheard, so Nolan helps Emily set him up as apparent murderer of Kara's second husband, which should also enable getting Kara on board. Mason even accepts to do the time for the scoop when Emily will ultimately come clean.—KGF Vissers
- Open with Emily seeing that Kara is furious that Conrad was released.
Treadwell drops by to see Emily. He shows her a photo from juvenile showing her and Amanda together. He thinks they are lovers. He says he's planning to write a book about her. She doesn't seem worried, so long as he writes the truth.
Kara tells Victoria she's booking a flight.
Emily tells Aiden he has 24 hours to put Daniel in charge of Grayson Global. She knows Conrad wasn't bailed out without reason.
Amanda tells Jack about her dreams for a wedding. Treadwell calls Amanda and says he knows about her jailhouse connection with Emily. Amanda lies to Jack about what Treadwell wants.
Conrad tells Victoria he's been informed the Initiative is sending an attaché to their upcoming investors meeting. She wants to pretend they're going along with everything, then at the last minute drag them down along with them.
Amanda tells Emily they need to shut Treadwell up for good. Emily tells her he'll be taken care of soon, but Amanda doesn't want to wait. Emily tells Amanda to call Treadwell and cancel lunch, telling him she' filing a restraining order.
Ryan's brother Nate drop by to see him and Jack. They are involved in some kind of play related to acquiring boats along the shore. Ryan seems to like Jack and Declan.
Emily drops by the Grayson's place as Kara is headed out. She gives Victoria a gift.
Aiden pays Nolan a visit. He tells him about the plan to overthrow Grayson Global and it involving the use of his company. Nolan gives him the proof of David Clarke's initial investment. He says he's only doing it to help Emily.
Aiden tells Daniel he's headed to him with the proof he'll need to take over the company. Daniel tells Ashley to keep Conrad away from the library long enough for him to get the investors on board.
Treadwell is at Jack's bar, waiting to see Jack. Amanda says she'll tell him the truth as long as he helps her. She tells him everything was Emily's idea, that she was obsessed with her. She tells him to meet her at his place.
Nolan tells Emily about helping Aiden.
Conrad introduces Victoria to Helen, the Initiative representative he's been meeting with and one of the company's largest investors.
Jack calls Emily looking for Treadwell's number. He says she went to meet with him and should be home. Emily rushes out.
Treadwell shows Amanda his research. She says it will be a relief to finally tell somebody the truth. He asks about Frank Stevens and she says Amanda is unhinged. He turns around and she is about to bash him over the head when Emily walks in and stops her. She tells Amanda to leave and then tells Treadwell that the other woman isn't Amanda Clarke. Emily says he had the power to change her and her father's future. She says everything that's happened to her is because of what happened to her father and he is to blame. She tells Treadwell it's "time to start making amends." Treadwell calls Kara and says he has information about Murphy.
While Conrad speaks to the group Daniel begins moving some of the major investors to the library.
Treadwell gives Kara a watch from Murphy and tells her to honor his memory she must leave. He then says David Clarke was also a victim. In his ear Emily yells that this is a mistake because Kara is off her meds. Emily is furious.
Daniel tells the investors the company is undervalued significantly. If they make him CEO he says he'll triple their net worth in less than a year.
Victoria grabs Conrad and tells him she has bad news. She brings him to see Kara, who is demanding a confession for what they did to David. Conrad says he was responsible. Kara pulls out Victoria's gun and tells them both to get in the dressing room.
The police arrive at Treadwell's home with a warrant for the murder of Murphy.
The cameras at the Conrad's place have been disabled. Emily tells Aiden to find her mother.
Victoria shows Kara proof that Murphy was the man who killed David. Just before Kara can shoot them Aiden comes in and grabs her, placing a towel over her face.
Kara wakes up in a car with Emily. They continue the story that Aiden is a cop and show her a bottle of pills that was with Murphy. Aiden says he won't be taking her in. Kara tells Emily to tell Amanda she wishes she could have been a better mother. Emily flashes to a childhood memory.
Noland tells Padma that the person he's been will cease to exist the following day. She says no matter what happens she'll always see him as Nolan.
Emily visits Treadwell in custody. She tells him he is going to go to prison for crimes he never committed. She wants him to confess and she'll eventually get him out when the time is right by confessing herself. He agrees.
Conrad and Victoria talk about how Kara managed to vanish. They assume it was the work of the Initiative.
Emily goes to Aiden. They kiss as the episode ends.
