Obviously as fake as a $3 bill
cherylmcleod-3784023 January 2023
The premise was good on the Orlando series, even with the fakery of the Keith - and who can say no to Marley!

The Tampa show, however, an absolute train wreck! I do realize that they've got to create drama for the show, but come on, make it slightly believable! The two ladies need to take some theatrical lessons and maybe dress like they are working! The guy isn't really much better and still, not at all realistic.

How about getting real flippers, or even realistic scenarios. Nobody is going to walk I to any of these properties dressed like they do on this show. The women don't even put their hair in a pony tail to minimize exposure to spiderwebs, bugs, etc - I mean it is Florida, right?

A&E, go back to Orlando or sort out these fakers.

I think I have seen 2 episodes so far. These three flippers do none of the work. They seem to lack chemistry. They do not dress for their roles. The "designer" dresses way too procotively; more like she is going to a club. They waltz around and criticize but there is no hands on flipping. They seem to see demo day as a photo opportunity. None of them seem to deal well with the true nature of zombies: smelly, gross, dirty, poopy messes. Apples vs toilet seats comparing it to the Orlando version. The 1 episode of the Texas version I saw was no better. Dump Tampa and Texas and go with Orlando only.

So many issues....
juliecombs-2028429 January 2023
I rarely put in reviews, but my contractor husband and I were just really flabbergasted watching this show, and airing on camera these issues. I would NEVER buy a house from these flippers. They show so many horrible issues on camera with their FINISHED product, that I don't trust what they are hiding. One huge issue, they showed on camera the contractor cutting off the back of the junction / electrical boxes in one episode. Any reputable contractor knows this is against the electrical codes. There were soooo many other issues, too many to list. This show should be an example of what not to do!

This show went down hill after moving from Orlando, FL, to Tampa
pt10019 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
***Warning: SPOILERS*** It's confusing, because Frndly TV, the streaming service where I watch Zombie House Flipping, still has the original title, but IMDb adds the word "Tampa" to the original title, indicating that it's a new, different show.

Anyway, the new team is mediocre and doesn't seem to know what they're doing. In the first two new episodes, they don't even have a buyer lined up before the episode ends, and they can't seem to stay within budget. I may watch one more episode to see of the original crew returns, but I don't think I'll keep watching if they don't. Really disappointing. I hope the old team is still around and shows up soon.

Trainwreck
worldofwhy12 November 2023
The Tampa team have no flavor or talent as the original Orlando team. The entire scene is stale , cold, dead , boring. People and storyline of each project is a crap show. No emotions or talent put forth in any of the builds. Just cheap sub par work.i used to really enjoy the original line up. I has stop watching completely since you started with these fools from Tampa and Dallas. Both shed zero characters you can enjoy watching on the screen. When you dropped Orlando you lost this fan for good. I don't get this cheap failed attempt to replace so many seasons of great work and inspiring work completed by the Orlando team. I wouldn't buy the trainwreck houses to other crews has ruined. Duke Keith, I appreciate the quality of work you shown us.

Worst of the Zombie group of shows
tampagal26 February 2023
I live in Tampa. What an embarrassment. Every episode I see numerous issues during the time they are revealing that it's ready. They all try too hard to be likable but come across as totally fake and superficial. I would be very interested in hearing what buyers think of the houses once purchased and living in them. I also haven't seen much more than replacing current fixtures and updating. Not much seems to be reimagined at all. Basically most of what is being done can be done by anyone willing to purchase a property and put in the same efforts most likely for less money. Sorry but really hoping this new version doesn't stick around for too long.

Poor casting for shows
greape5 May 2024
My overall opinion of this show is as follows. The show had three people who are involved in house flipping in the Tampa Florida market. They are represent as the money guy., the desginer, and the realestate agent. Each of them are using their skills to make a profit on each filp.

In the early shows it clearly shows that they are not working together to make it work. Resulting small margins of profit due to poor rehab costs and market sales projection.

Then the produces change one of the people to the wife of the money person. This move made showis less realistic. Each new show they are trying to make her knowledgeable on the housing market and house remodeling costs. One show i really started laugh as she tried to explain the reak estate market trends. She has no clue on what she us saying at all.

The designer has issues as well.. Her goofy personality does not fix with shows theme.. She should be explaining how the design elements can improve the house flip profit... She not be goofying around and doing strange things like rolling across the kitchen counter tops.

The money person also has issues as well.. Some of the comments he makes dont make sense.. his background knowledge is also questionable too.. Example like the car he is driving on the show..

Overall opinion is the show is complety fake. The three main people are also fake in knowing the true flipping housing market.

Usually FF after beginning to end

Not too thrilled with this version. Seems very fake. I don't think removing Sam was a good idea. I don't care for Domar's wife. It's even more fake with her. I do like Amanda and I think Sam and Amanda worked well together. Bring back more Orlando instead of this and Dallas! Dallas is pretty fake too. They should go back to the roots of the original Orlando show which seemed to do a good job on each house and some scenes seemed spontaneous. I don't think I saw so many shows with little mess ups on camera even with dirt or debris on the floor during the final showing. Also where are the real Zombies?! Most of them are $50-80k to fix.
