In episode 1, we're introduced to a Seoul overridden with Covid-induced small business debts and the loans sharks are having a frenzy. Kim Geon-woo, a boxer who makes up for his boyish naivete with his skill in the ring and his impressive humanity, befriends a fellow competitor and ex-marine, Hong Woo-jin, and together they face off against the deceptively-named "Smile Capital". We've got clear heroes to root for, some textbook villainy, but we've also got Choi Tae-ho, an ex-loan shark turned philanthropist, and his adopted granddaughter, Hyun-ju. Their paths only glance those of Geon-woo in this first episode, but they set up some juicy expectations for the future. Oh and what makes this drama really special is the boxing. Goddam it's beautiful.

A Masterpiece

After so many movies,reboots, remakes and what not, i am surprised to find this gem. The very first episode is the most important one, and this one deliveres masterfully. In just 1 hour you get to know the characters, their motivation, even the villain ks well made. You will be invested, hooked and completely immersed. No need to say what the first episode is about, only that you will enjoy it. It is fast paced and still manages to cover so many plots, no time is waisted. The pacing is perfect. This story is about heart, Friendship, brotherhood, love and courage. This is most definitely a must watch for action movie lovers.
