- "Everything divides us. Only love unites." - Shailendra Singh. One India, My India 2.0 : Bhuj to Bengal is the sequel to the original, and highly celebrated, One India, My India : Kanyakumari to Kashmir Anthem4good, released in 2019. In order to unite all 1.6 billion Indians on the planet, creator Shailendra Singh aims to translate the anthem in to all Indian languages. There was no commercial consideration in the making of the song, the only intention is to celebrate India and spread love. The song is created and curated by Shailendra Singh and composed by India's beloved composer, Mithoon (Sanam Re, Tum Hi Ho). It features the voices of the highly celebrated Gujrati singer, Osman Mir, alongside Shaan, Bollywood's favorite playback singer, singing in Bengali, in addition to Mithoon, Jubin Nautiyal and Godswill. The incomparable Sayeed Quadri wrote the lyrics. The music video for the anthem4good 2.0 is written and directed by Shailendra Singh, to amplify the message of 'peace, love and unity'. The video is shot in Gujurat, Maharashtra and Bengal - West to East - and features vignettes of all the singers. It urges us all to remember that we are one large family of humanity; that we have far more similarities than differences. If we can overcome the division that religion, economics, caste and creed continue to cause, we can make space to care and love each other, bringing more joy and happiness to the world. This is especially important as India celebrates their stewardship of the G20 Summit in 2023.—Nicole Sottung
