Mother and Father lay the child in his cot at the same time every night. However, come morning, only a shallow crater remains; a baby-shaped depression. The boy was destined to be a wanderer.
A mother and father struggle to cope with the mysterious late-night wanderings of their baby son. Each night they tie a piece of string around his ankle, a rescue cord to locate him when the sun rises. But the cord can only reach so far, and despite his young age, the boy seems determined to venture out into the world without them.—Stephen Irwin
