- An apathetic support worker tries to save his job by building a relationship with his autistic client, after he succeeds, he is asked to be the kid's full-time worker and he contemplates taking the job.
- Lucas is an autistic young adult. Adam is a recent college graduate. While still searching for other jobs, Adam gets the opportunity to be Lucas' support worker while his family is away. Adam does the bare minimum at this job which causes Lucas' mum to threaten him with his paycheck. Adam strives to do better for the sole purpose of getting his full payment. Adam decides to leave the house with Lucas for half of the day to make Lucas' mum believe that they are being productive. Lucas' mum informs Adam and Lucas that the family will be away for longer. This causes Lucas to have an escalation. Adam tries to make Lucas feel better by taking him to a field and yelling out everything he has been bottling up. This experience makes them more comfortable with each other and they start to form a bond. Adam and Lucas continue to go about their day, now as friends. During this time, they both grow. Lucas even goes on his very first date. Lucas' mum has a deep conversation with Adam pouring her heart to him and expressing how burnt out she is from having to take care of Lucas. After the conversation, she offers Adam a full-time job. Adam becomes conflicted not knowing if he should take the job or not.—Tomide Bamigboye
