The actress that played Ha Na "Serah Kim" has never done acting before Two Sides. The original actress that was supposed to portray Ha Na refused to communicate with the producer Troy Le. Desperate to find a Korean actress, Troy reached out to his former college classmate Serah. The two didn't know each other well at the time. Serah accepted the role and found a new hobby in the film industry. This gave her a stronger friendship with Troy and ShutterFIlms.
