Gren White was the third actress to be hired for the role of Audrey. She was hired during the first day of shooting after the second actress was unable to fulfill the role.
The film's original title was A Summer's Diary, and was originally intended to be a teen drama about a group of friends and the summer after high school graduation. After the writers completed the script for Kbob's Basement, it was decided to plug that script's characters into this story line, causing the high school drama to become a college comedy.
This is the second time that Milly Santos, J.J. Harman and Gerald Yelverton have appeared on screen together. They previously appeared in the film A Man of God directed by Samuel White.
The role of Everywhere Guy, played by Kevin Austra, was not originally in the script. After Kevin auditioned the director liked him so much that she created a role specifically for him.
