In some measure, surprising. For tone more than for story. A film about fascination, voyerism, self definition, attraction, skateboarding and friendship. A film about acceptance, in same measure. Charming for acting and for the fair embroidery of small motives, for nice realism and for the great- wise- sweet end. Few lovely scenes , especially the visit of Jason to his neighbors or the two revelations of truth for girl friend of Jason and his mother. At the first sigh, a film about growing, coming of age and coming out , in fact, inspired portrait of an unique , vulnerable , brave, courious age. Short, just beautiful to remarkable.
