- The PAW Patrol must work quickly to fix the tracks and remove a train car at the train station before the next train comes in. Later, Cap'n Turbot is lost at sea when a deep fog rolls in.
- Pup Pup Boogie:
The story starts with Chase bumping into Ryder at the top of the Lookout and asking about the new Pup Pup Boogie 2 that was coming out today. Chase asks Skye if she's playing the all-new Pup Pup Boogie, but she says she's playing the old version. Chase joins the game, but gets all the steps wrong. He asks Skye how she does it, and Skye explains that when she starts a new move, she puts her front paw in front and puts her back paw on the side. Chase gives it a try, then he gets the hang of it. After they finish dancing, Skye and Chase are tired and out of breath. They go outside the Lookout to have a water break. Marshall and Rubble come running up to them to ask if the new Pup Pup Boogie has been delivered. Marshall does a tail spin, but ends up landing on Ryder. Ryder's pup-pad rings; it is Mayor Goodway. She panics and tells Ryder that a train carriage has derailed and if they don't hurry, the train which is bringing the all new Pup Pup Boogie game won't be able to enter the station. Ryder calls the PAW Patrol to the Lookout.
After Zuma's foul-up on the roundabout at the playground when he's trying to race Rocky, the pups all arrive in the elevator, yet Marshall attempts another tail spin, but ends up spinning out of the elevator and smacking into the entrance doors to the Lookout. He quickly recovers and gets back in the elevator just in time to head up to get their briefing.
Ryder tells the PAW Patrol what happened, but when he first loads up the briefing, he accidentally runs a playback of Chase and Skye's earlier Pup Pup Boogie replay, causing Marshall to dance a little bit. Marshall apologizes, but Ryder is impressed by how much he's practiced. Once Ryder gets the briefing up, Chase mentions that the new Pup Pup Boogie is coming on the next train, causing Marshall to go into another dance fit before he realizes his mistake and apologizes and ensures he's done dancing now. Ryder chooses Chase to come to pull the derailed carriage off the tracks, and for Rubble to remove the old rails and bring in new ones. Ryder slides down the fire pole to his ATV while Rubble and Chase go down the slide to their vehicles.
When they arrive at the train station, Ryder tells Chase to remove the carriage. Once that is done, Rubble checks the broken train tracks. He jumps, slips, and sprains his paw. With Rubble injured, Ryder attempts to call Mr. Hudson and warn him. Unfortunately, the running of the train is too noisy for Mr. Hudson to hear the ringing, and Mr. Hudson's elbow, along with the vibrating ring, knock the phone off the windowsill of the locomotive.
At Katie's Pet Parlor, Rubble's paw is bandaged, but with him under orders from Katie to stay off it and ice it, until it heals, Rubble suggests that Ryder drive his rig instead. Ryder can't do that, as he's too big, so Chase is chosen to drive it instead. However, Chase can't remember the instructions he is told by Ryder, and soon panics when he starts pressing controls in a frightened state. Once he calms down and mentions how it is like how he couldn't remember the steps in Pup Pup Boogie, Ryder has Chase turn on the radio to the Pup Pup Boogie music, and with its help, Chase soon gets the hang of it, and clears the wrecked rails and ties from the railroad crossing. Ryder handles the hard labor of laying down the new rails, and the track is fixed just in time. Mr. Hudson delivers the game, and everyone returns to the Lookout to watch Chase and Skye go at it in head-to-head competition. Marshall has another one of his wild tail spins, and crashes into Mayor Goodway. Marshall apologizes, and the story ends with Mayor Goodway laughing with Marshall as they rub heads while the Pup Pup Boogie is refrained one last time.
Pups in a Fog:
The pups are preparing for a sleep-out under the stars. Zuma is busy enjoying the bag of treats the pups have with them, while Marshall and Rubble play tug-of-war with one of the pillows. As for Chase, he is having a little trouble with his sleeping bag, as it keeps rolling back up from the free end that he doesn't have his weight on. It only gets worse when Rubble pups knocks into him when Marshall calls dibs on the final treat offers by Zuma, wrapping Chase up in his own sleeping bag, leaving him disappointed at the sleep-out being ruined for him, while the other pups laugh.
On the Lookout's balcony, Ryder watches the sunset, and the light from Cap'n Turbot's lighthouse on Seal Island come on. However, the light seems to be flickering and faltering. Concerned, Ryder checks through the Lookout's periscope, and watches as the light burns out completely. Worried, he calls Cap'n Turbot to let him know, but the Cap'n Turbot is currently out at sea on the Flounder when he gets Ryder's call. Worse, a heavy fog is rolling in, and without his lighthouse's beacon, Cap'n Turbot cannot even get home to Seal Island to replace it. To make things more problematic, Turbot knows that the MS Princess Maria cruise ship is due to head through Adventure Bay in an hour, and without the lighthouse, the ship could run aground on the rocks near Seal Island.
After the Captain has a moment of amnesia and forgets he had already called Ryder when he decides to call them and let them know, Turbot panics and gets himself stuck in a bucket. Ryder assures that the PAW Patrol are on their way, and Turbot walks away to continue his own business with a cheerful whistle.
As the pups are summoned to the Lookout, Chase is left to try and slither after them since he was still stuck in his sleeping bag, then hop after them into the elevator. Marshall gives the pups a good laugh after he sneezes up some feathers, and the pups are given their orders upon reaching the top: Ryder will head out with Zuma and Chase riding in Zuma's hovercraft to Seal Island and attempt to use Chase's light on his megaphone to substitute for the lighthouse's light until Cap'n Turbot can return to replace it, and prevent the Princess Maria from hitting the rocks. The other pups will need to try and stay awake in case Ryder needs backup.
While the pups do what they can to stay awake and not fall asleep, such as playing Marco Polo, Ryder, Chase, and Zuma find their way to Seal Island blocked by Wally the walrus. Despite their attempts to warn him that there is an emergency they need to get to, he only lets them pass once they give him a treat. When the PAW Patrol reach the lighthouse, the door is locked, and Cap'n Turbot has the keys with him personally back on the Flounder. Worse, the Princess Maria is now visible heading straight for Seal Island. With time running out, Ryder suggests having Chase fire his net under an open window for Ryder to use as a cargo net to climb up and into the lighthouse. Once inside, Ryder unlocks the door for Chase and Zuma, and they head for the top. When they get there, the Princess Maria's captain contacts them on the radio asking about the lighthouse's beacon. Ryder responds, and Chase gets his megaphone's light on just in the nick of time, allowing the captain and his crew to steer the Princess Maria clear of Seal Island. The captain sends his thanks and blows the ship's horn in gratitude, and Cap'n Turbot soon arrives home to replace the lighthouse beacon's bulb and thank Ryder for all his help.
Back at the Lookout, the other pups are about ready to doze off when Ryder, Chase, and Zuma return. Marshall speaks for all of them at how they stayed up in case Ryder needed them, and Skye can't wait to hear what happened. As Chase and Zuma let off tired yawns, Ryder goes to retrieve some sleep-out snacks for the pups to have as he tells them everything. When he returns, all the pups have fallen asleep, so he leaves the treats for them to have when they wake up. As the other pups sleep soundly, Ryder and Chase exchange a warm smile before dozing off themselves, Ryder wishing his pups goodnight as the camera pans upward to the star-filled sky.
