The young dancer Paula looks after her mother Ida, who suffers from Parkinson's disease. Out of love for her mother, she hides her exhaustion and, like so many other young carers, quietly reaches her limits, while her single mother remains silent about the worsening of her illness out of concern for her daughter. About two women fighting, the unspoken word in the room and why responsibility is often hidden behind closed doors.
