Three years ago, HappyHappyGal thought she’d missed her chance to do something she really loved.
Now, she has nearly 150,000 Twitch followers to prove otherwise.
Happy grew up a gamer, with titles like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Donkey Kong, and Pokemon, and then, as a teenager, got into first-person shooters like Call of Duty with her sister. Her antics in these games matched her Irl attitude: “My whole life, I’ve been very energetic and silly, always wanting to generate that happiness and make people stay,” she says. “The natural course of that is, you get to senior year and everyone’s going to college. I’m not alone in saying this,...

Universal Orlando Resort must have some big plans for Epic Universe. According to Fox 25 Orlando, the theme park just took its 700 acres and made it 1,300 acres, almost doubling its size.
While there were rumors of expansion areas for the initial 700 acres, including some land near the upcoming Super Nintendo Land, it seems that a lot more land will be available for use.
We do not know what plans Universal Orlando has for the land, but some speculate we could see another water park area or entertainment complex.
I’m hoping we get more themed areas. Currently, Epic Universe will hold five themed areas, including Isle of Berk Super Nintendo Land Wizarding World of Harry Potter Dark Universe and the Celestial Park hub area.
There have been rumors that Pokemon or Legend of Zelda could come to Universal Orlando. Perhaps we could see something large added to Epic Universe?

A new rumor indicates that Universal Orlando maybe replacing the Simpsons Ride and the entire Springfield area when their deal for the IP is up. According to some sources that deal may expire in 2028. However, Universal could shut it down early and convert it into something else.
What could it become?
One rumor indicates that the Springfield area could shut down ahead of 2028 with its two attractions, The Simpsons Ride and Kang and Kodo’s Twirl ‘n Hurl. The area would then be rethemed to Pokémon.
Pokémon coming to Universal is not a new rumor.
Previously, rumors swirled about the pocket monsters coming to Epic Universe in the first phase or as expansions to the Nintendo Land area.
Other rumors had a Pokemon attraction replacing “The Amazing Adventures Of Spider-Man” at Universal Studios Florida. Then Universal Studios Japan closed its Spider-Man attraction, and many think it will be replaced with a Pokémon attraction.

The best-selling Nintendo console of all time isn’t a home console like the Wii or Switch, but the Nintendo DS. Nintendo’s handheld consoles make up a vital part of its history, providing the video game industry with a number of technical innovations, introducing their own beloved video game properties, and helping keep Nintendo alive and relevant during periods when its home consoles were floundering against their competitors.
Simply put, the Nintendo we know today wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the Game Boy and its successors over the subsequent decades. With 2024 marking the 35th anniversary of the Game Boy, here is a look back at the creation of the Game Boy, how its seismic impact fits into the wider legacy of Nintendo overall, and the importance of Nintendo’s handheld console line in the video game industry.

Chris Pratt has teased that a "Nintendo cinematic universe" could be in the pipeline. The 44-year-old actor will once again play Mario in the recently-announced sequel to 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' and thinks there is "so much to explore" in terms of stories based on the characters created by the Japanese video game company.Speaking to Screen Rant, Chris said: "Oh, man! There's so much to explore. There are decades worth of (games) to explore, not only with Mario and Peach and Donkey Kong and Luigi and Bowser and Yoshi; that was teased at the end. "But it just gets me so excited. I was such a Nintendo head growing up, so just thinking about how everything from 'Legend of Zelda' to the entire Nintendo cinematic universe could be created and what that could look like for all of these characters that I love?"I mean, there's really no limit.

A still from The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)
After the success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, it was confirmed that we’d be getting a second one all the way in 2026. This opens the door to unending possibilities about what Nintendo could do in terms of bringing many of its video games to the big screen. A Nintendo Cinematic Universe might just be what we need, and Chris Pratt seems to agree as well.

Steven Spielberg's breakthrough movie, famously, did not come easy. In 1974, the up-and-coming filmmaker — then in his twenties — took on the difficult task of adapting a brand new, super-successful novel into what would become the first summer blockbuster, overseeing complex action sequences, massive practical effects set-ups, and shoots in the open ocean. It was a challenge that the filmmaker was hesitant to take on in the first place, and Spielberg eventually ended up over budget and over schedule.
As a product of movie-making titan Universal Pictures, it would've been easy for executives to simply replace Spielberg with another filmmaker. According to the director himself, though, one exec vouched for him, and it was a decision that impacted the rest of his career. Entertainment Weekly once asked Spielberg why he was never fired from "Jaws," and he replied: "Sid Sheinberg always blocked it." As the then-president of Universal, Sheinberg had final...
