- When an amateur photographer realizes she has taken a photo of a brutal attack, she must use the clues in the image to solve the crime - before she becomes the next victim.
- April Jameson has always had a vintage vibe. So when she takes a class on old-school film photography, she quickly falls in love with it. But what started as a fling with photography quickly turns into an obsession when she interrupts the attempted murder of socialite Jackie Johnson, and realizes she inadvertently snapped a photo of the attack. With the help of her sister Ellie, and her photography instructor Lawrence, she pores over the photo, looking for clues to the crime, but every new hint just turns into more unanswered questions. Trying to recall the details of the traumatic attack, she seeks the help of a hypnotherapist, Dr. Sampson. But as her memory becomes more and more fractured, she begins to wonder if the good doctor is actually helping her... or if he has motives on his own. She finds out her photo instructor Lawrence has past ties to the victim which could or could not be a coincidence. When someone breaks into her home and then attacks Ellie, April realizes she herself was the intended victim. Now, with a killer on her trail and no one she can trust, April must discover who is behind this string of violent crimes... before her own life comes to a photo finish.
