"MeTube: August Sings Carmen 'Habanera'" is a 4-minute music video (?) from 2013 that has over 1 million views on Youtube. Needless to say anything about the basic contents as the title describes them already. This is an Austrian short film by writer and director Daniel Moshel and there is certainly a touch of Kurt Kren to it in terms of how it becomes more and more bizarre the longer it goes, if you can even say that for a film with such runtime. We have a guy (called "Nerd" in the credits) watch into a camera apparently and look at us and then he starts singing. In the meantime all kinds of events happen behind him, first just a couple seniors passing by, then a real party ensues. Overall, I must say this was not too good a watch. I did not find it funny and the music is not my preferred choice, even if his voice was decent. I do not recommend the watch. now lets see if the sequel is any better.
