Yotam is a young man who lives in a small apartment on the outskirts of his hometown. Assaf, His beloved brother is terminally ill. Towards the end of Hanukkah, Assaf died and leaves a will with instruction to burn his body and scatter the ashes. His father strongly opposes to that and organizes a traditional Jewish funeral. Yotam, who always tried to avoid confrontations and never in his life made a major decision, struggles between his parents' wishes and the last wish of his brother. He takes Assaf's body, leaves town and performs a farewell ceremony of his own.
