Who should we feel bad for, Kenya or Portia?
aheadatherest17 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The episode starts off with narration from Eva and clips of a future argument between Portia and Kenya. Kenya announces that she is now a mother and all seems to be blissful, however she is unsettled with the fact that she is in a long distance relationship. She is looking forward to a Barbie themed bash for her 7 month old daughter, Brooklyn, and is in hopes that her husband, Mark, will be in attendance. Portia has just had a baby that is now two month old, however, she has just learned that her fiancé, Dennis, has cheated on her. The news quickly spread to the blogs and now she is feeling humiliated. Her mother and sister surround her in comfort. Eva and her husband are close to finding a home to settle in. She is currently 7 months pregnant.

Cynthia is over the hills in love with Mike and is putting a little pressure on him to pop the question. She has even gone to the extent of looking for wedding dresses, one of which was posted on her Instagram account. Later in the episode, the audience finds out the at the weeding dress that posted on IG, was the one that she planned on wearing to Cynthia's Barbie Bash. Cynthia later sits down with Kenya at her new wine cellar and admits that she is thirsty for wedding bells, as she is not getting any younger. (By the way , she looks fabulous at age 52.)

Kandi is introduced into the episode while dining at The old Lady Gang with Cynthia and Eva. The ladies make small talk about Kandi's exotic tour but the conversation was interrupted when a drink was delivered to Kandi by a women named Sincerely. She is the rumored women who supposedly slept with Portia's fiancé, Dennis, but came to the table to admit that she has never even met the man. The ladies at the table thank Sincerely for clearing that up and agree that they should tell Portia together.

The next scene is of Kenya's Barbie Bash for her daughter, Brooklyn, but her husband is no where in sight. Nonetheless, she put on a brave face to have fun with all her guests. Portia has not shown up for work, as Eva is her temporary replacement. However, she has made time to come to Kenya's Barbie Bash dressed in matching red dresses with PJ. Kenya over hears a little gossip and wants in on the conversation that Cynthia, Kandi, and Eva are having. They explain that Sincerely is not the one who cheated with Dennis and she agrees to not discuss it with Portia until the ladies have told her the good news first.

Long story short, Kenya and Portia find themselves sharing a scene, in which, the ladies share memories of their past arguments. (This scene foreshadows a future argument between the ladies, but we will see why they are even at odds in the future.) At this moment, the scene does seem to be sincere. Kenya is all about this moment and wants to continue the good feeling. Therefore, she brings in Cynthia, Kandi and another lady and they share the news that Sincerely is not the one who cheated with Dennis. Portia is content with the information, because she knows who the women is that cheated with Dennis but is not ready to share that information with these ladies, let alone the word. Nene does not show up in this episode at all.
