A too complex episode or a nice little film?
'A scandal in Belgravia' by Steven Moffat deals with the protagonist Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson who are solving a mysterious crime about a member of the royal family in London who is confronted by Irene Adler since there are some compromising pictures. The episode, which lasts 90 minutes (which is may be too long for an episode- could've split it into two episodes), has many twists and plots which gives an interesting typical Sherlock-detective style. The connection from the beginning and the end complete the matter and leads to no open question in the end. Furthermore, you could watch the episode without having knowledge about Sherlock beforehand. I think we can agree that the Sherlock crimes aren't ordinary and that you have to love this funny, romantic and still exciting drama if you want to watch Sherlock Holmes (BBC).
