After a stretch of extended mediocrity, things get back on track in a strong way here.
The central plot was intriguing, and I loved the inclusion of the flashbacks. That it also connected to the story in a larger way (with Loeb setting up Gordon) only made it all that more effective.
The various subplots, which have been lacking in a major way for a while, start to click here. Fish's ordeal at the organ farm may have been dragged out past its expiration date, but all that track laying does pay off a bit here. And the Bruce/Selina story had a great shocker of an ending with definite implications for the future.
