- The unfading significance of the Elvis Presley role in the world of pop music and entertainment.
- A Tribute to Elvis Presley, [Elvis Aaron Presley, (January 8, 1935--August 16, 1977)], an American cultural icon, by Vladislav Alexander Stefan, Ph.D., (b. 1948), an American theoretical plasma physicist. The rewrites by V. Alexander Stefan, (1978).
From Vladislav Alexander (Sasha) Stefan:
This is my slightly modified original version of 1978. QUALB the Giver is the Supreme Being, as in my "Faustef Trilogy."
In my teen years, in the 1960s, I used to sing with my group the songs of Elvis. My favorite was, I think, "Good Luck Charm." The day when Elvis closed his eyes forever was a blatant example of the unfairness of life. Said Johnny Carson: "If life were fair, Elvis would be alive and all the impersonators would be dead." Elvis Presley is known as an utmost generous and giving man. Elvis Presley belongs to the World.
I have to share this with you. I remember the dates due to the sad day of the last-breath of Elvis Presley; otherwise, I wouldn't.This was in Belgrade, Serbia, (Yugoslavia Anterior). On August 14, 1977, my car [BMW 2002, a (Romeo's and Juliet's) "Verona red" color], was stolen. On August 16, 1977, it was recovered by the Belgrade militia. I can bet my bottom dollar that Elvis did help me from the "Up Above." I'm just kidding... or maybe not? Long live Elvis Presley!
Here is my guitar and me, saluting Elvis in my Slavic English and my "California Earthquake" rhythm. Slurring the words and the throat singing, I had learned from Elvis in my teen years.
