- Finally facing his conservative nature, a prominent black attorney switches parties to make a bid for governor of Georgia. Running is a politically driven David & Goliath drama about best friends who take on the powerful political machine of state politics and fight to stay alive as the sharks begin to circle.
- Living up to the title "Most Promising Young Attorney" by Atlanta Magazine, black attorney MacNeil Carver is at the top of his profession. When an unsavory DA announces his bid for the Governor's office, Justin Harper convinces his best friend Carver to run with the caveat that the self-described "conservative Democrat" run as a Republican. Carver reluctantly agrees, but only with Harper as his campaign manager. Harper cracks under the pressure of a dirty campaign and his rocky relationship with a mysterious campaign staffer, casting six years of sobriety into question. He makes an unflattering remark about Atlanta's flourishing LGBT community, forcing Carver to distance himself. With the election days away, Carver is blindsided when compromising pictures threaten to derail his campaign. With seemingly no way to prove his innocence, Carver turns to his best friend to help quash his alleged indiscretions. Now, with victory in hand, a murder investigation leads the District Attorney to the Governor's front door.
