- Children of two family rivals fall in love with each other and married off but later the marriage brings more animosity between the families.
- Rivalry between the Khan and Chowdhury families has existed for many generations. Brought up with immense love and affection, beautiful Rukhsana, Amzad Chowdhury's daughter, becomes attracted to Sarowar Khan while on an outing with her friends. On knowing this, Amzad's wrath gets out of control. On the other hand, Delowar Khan is extremely happy to know that his son is in love with his enemy's daughter and promises Sarowar he will marry him off to Rukhsana. The marriage is settled after great difficulties. On the marriage occasion, Amzad demands a huge amount of Haque-Meher. Delowar is dumbfounded and shocked but gives his word of paying the amount for his son's happiness. Hurt by the insult, Delowar retaliates by throwing Rukhsana out of the house next morning after paying the money that happened to be the reason of more anger for Amzad.—wakim
