Chalchiuhtotolin is an actual deity in Aztec mythology and hours were spent researching his attributes not to mention the correct pronunciation of his name. We combined multiple written accounts with phonetic guides of native languages and the Spanish spoken in Mexico to arrive at the pronunciation used in the film. Upon transferring the footage to our Editor we found out that he is part Aztec and that members of his family still speak the language. He also informed us that we were very close but still didn't get the name right. Production wishes to apologizes for this mispronunciation and to guarantee that every member of the cast and crew can now say 'Chalchiuhtotolin' correctly.
The baldric worn by the British red coat infantry is actually for naval officers.
The military uniform worn by the GI returning home to his wife is an amalgamation of multiple military uniforms and insignia. Production would like to recognize the contributions of the men and women of the 'Greatest Generation' and apologize for the inaccuracy in their depiction of the character. No offense was intended and the uniform was used due to time constraints.
