Dylan never fit in at home, at the Colony. Everyone was always too concerned with tending the fields and raising families. He just wanted to be left alone in his garage with his tools and his dream car: an accurately recreated VW Beetle, complete with a vintage combustion engine. That was before he got out on the road and saw what the world had left to offer. Sure, there were more women his age outside of the Colony. But there were also more people who wanted to kill him and eat him for dinner. Now it seems like the Colony wasn't such a bad place to grow up after all. Except for the lack of women, that is.
