*** (out of 4)

Director Robert Allen Schnitzer, cinematographer Victor Milt and composer Henry Mollicone discuss their 1976 film THE PREMONITION. The director gets the majority of the twenty-two minute running time and he starts off talking about how he got involved in the film, what style he wanted to bring to it as well as talking about the original screenplay. From here the cinematographer jumps into the discussion and talks about the look of the film as well as some of the special effects done in it. Then Mollicone talks about his score for the picture and he even plays a part of it live on his piano. If you're a fan of the film in question then you should enjoy this well-made featurette, which gives you a lot of behind the scenes stories about the production of the film. The director talks the majority of the time and shares some nice stories about the casting, the location shoot and of course some of the director's who influenced him.
