Set in a idyllic town, and shot on stunning sets in Toronto, The Target looks to explore the idea that one can take control of one's own life while still staying true to the rules. Beautiful costumes and wonderful sets are the place of magic and humour as we follow the Princess and the King as they play two sides of the game. Tara Yelland stars as Gwendolyn and shows her power as she embraces the role and brings new meaning to 'girl power'. Cliff Saunders shines as King Rudolph in a beautifully tempered role. Jeff Pustil carries the cast with his flawless performance as the Prime Minister. Shot by cinematographer Thom Best, this a a fun filled half hour of family entertainment. Director Felix Gray tells the tale simply and with little fluff. Jack Gray came out of retirement to write this short and has simply never been better. 'The Target': a short escape.
