The car that "hits" Faith actually has the Director Kelly Maher driving, Key Makeup Laura Kirsch in the passenger seat, as well as Grace Narducci (the actress playing Faith) sitting in the backseat. Essentially, this means that Faith is in the vehicle that kills herself.
The set was plagued by bad luck and was unofficially referred to by other Drexel Seniors as the "Murphy's Law Set".
The playground scene had to be re-shot over two different days due to being interrupted by a freak lightning/hail storm.
The person seen being hit by the car is not actually Gary Bowman, but a grip named Alec Freund, not only was Alec not wearing his own shirt (he was actually wearing a bloody version of Gary's shirt) but he was wearing actor Billy Ambrose's pants (they had to switch since Alec had come to set wearing mustard yellow pants instead of jeans by mistake). Gary Bowman viewed the shot of Sky (his character) being hit by the car and thought it was himself in the shot.
The film was planned to have an entire subplot about strange ghosts named "Reapers" which were omens of death - in the end, they had to be omitted due to camera/ VFX difficulties, but the actors who played them are still listed in the credits.
