Rich man Ajar-bai travels around his possessions on a donkey and sings. On the way, he meets the poor farmer Hasan, who is irrigating his field to grow a crop. Ajar-bai accuses the interlocutor of stealing water and asks to pay the money. The farmer begged, asked not to take payment from him and reminded the owner that he had already paid him yesterday, and the crop would die without water. But Ajar-bai said that yesterday there was a payment for yesterday's water, and today for today's, and demanded even more.
