Hailey Bieber is speaking out about fans continuing to pit her against Selena Gomez. In a June 30 interview with Bloomberg's "The Circuit With Emily Chang," Hailey opened up about the drama, calling it "awful."
"I don't think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez," she explained. "This is not about this pitting between two women and division between two women. It's about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made up and twisted and perpetuated narratives. That can be really dangerous." She said she's "not Ok with the kind of division that it caused" and the idea of being "team this person" and that she ultimately wants to bring people together.
Chang called it a "frustrating, old narrative" about two women being pitted against each other "over a man," and Hailey replied, "Because of a guy? It's awful. I hate it. I've hated it since the beginning.

James Corden's time as a late-night host has officially come to an end. And what better way to bid farewell to "The Late Late Show" than to call upon his buddy Tom Cruise, don a meerkat costume, and join in on a Broadway performance of "The Lion King"? Yes, really.
The concept of James Corden and Tom Cruise crashing a Broadway show might sound insane, but just take a moment to truly process those words. In a way, this was the inevitable conclusion of Corden's late-night reign.
Since taking over "The Late Late Show" in 2015, Corden has been finding new (and increasingly strange) ways to combine his love of theater with the star-studded nature of his talk show. This has led to performance-heavy recurring segments like "Carpool Karaoke," "Drop The Mic" and "Riff-Off." When the opportunity arises, Corden's love of Broadway takes centerstage, so it only makes sense for...

Exclusive: James Corden is in negotiations to extend his contract for CBS’ The Late Late Show.
Deadline understands that the Brit has been in talks for some time but that negotiations have stepped up recently. Reps for CBS and Corden declined comment.
Corden’s current contract runs through August 2022 and the network is thought to be keen to keep him. While network chiefs are said to be happy with the performance of the linear show, which airs at 12:37am, it is the show’s digital success that has largely driven up its value for CBS and CBS Studios, which produces it. The Late Late Show has had over 9B views on its YouTube page and has 27M subscribers, the second most in late-night.
It has also been a strong IP generator for CBS Studios, yielding two spinoff series to date with Carpool Karaoke and Drop the Mic.

A few former castmates of the hit show Glee got together for a fun reunion on Friday. Costars Chord Overstreet, Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum Jr., Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Diana Agron, and Amber Riley hit up Los Angeles piano bar Tramp Stamp Granny's - which is co-owned by Darren and his wife, Mia - before sharing a couple of photos that sent Glee fans into a frenzy.
The snaps feature the seven friends smiling into the camera looking . . . gleeful. While one photo is super blurry, the other is much more lucid. "Reality vs expectations," Kevin joked, posting a gallery with the hazy picture followed by the clear shot. Harry also posted the photos, adding, "This was a fun reunion and all but where did my legs go in this pic?"

James Corden is in talks with CBS on a new deal as host and executive producer of The Late Late Show, Deadline has confirmed. This would be Corden’s first re-up.
The first contract Corden signed with CBS was in 2014 when he arrived from the UK to take over as host of Late Late Show, replacing Craig Ferguson. His current deal is set to expire at the end of the 2019-20 broadcast season.
CBS would not comment, as negotiations are underway and a deal has not been reached.
The Late Late Show has been a success with Corden at the helm, earning Emmy nominations for outstanding talk-variety show for the past three years. Ratings-wise, the show clocked an overnight metered-market 1.5 for Thursday’s show following Stephen Colbert’s strong Late Show lead-in, which scored its best Thursday yet (overnight metered-market 3.8), with Colbert hosting the entire cast of The Big Bang Theory...

Smollett turned himself in to police at 5 a.m. Ct this morning, hours after he was formally charged with filing a false police report.
The charges stem from a report Smollett filed on Jan. 29 that he was attacked by two men who shouted racial and homophobic slurs and referenced “Maga.” After releasing two former suspects over the weekend, police said they wanted to interview Smollett again — and days later declared him a suspect.

Following Jussie Smollett‘s arrest for allegedly staging a racist and homophobic attack against himself, TNT has pulled an upcoming Drop the Mic episode that featured the Empire actor.
The episode, which was originally slated to air Feb. 6 (days after the allegedly staged attack) and then got rescheduled for March 6, would have pitted Smollett against Orange Is the New Black‘s Danielle Brooks in a rap battle. Executive producer and head writer Jensen Karp announced the scheduling change on Twitter Thursday.

TNT will not air a planned March 6 episode of its celeb rap-battle series Drop the Mic that featured Jussie Smollett, the Empire star who was arrested this morning and charged with felony counts for his part in faking that he was attacked last month in Chicago.
The episode features Smollett facing off against American Idol alum Clay Aiken. Drop the Mic executive producer Jensen Carp noted the episode’s postponement Thursday on Twitter:
We had an episode of Drop The Mic this season with Jussie that you'll now (correctly) never see, but sadly it will shelve @clayaiken, Who Was A Very Good Rapper (at least for now)

Said a TNT spokesperson: “We are pulling the episode in the interest of not being exploitative of an incredibly sensitive situation. We are holding on airing his episode for now and we are replacing it with the Raven...

TNT has dropped an upcoming episode of “Drop the Mic” featuring Jussie Smollett following the “Empire” star’s surrender to Chicago Pd early Thursday morning on charges of filing a false police report.
“We are pulling the episode in the interest of not being exploitative of an incredibly sensitive situation,” a TNT spokesperson said in a statement to TheWrap on Thursday. “We are holding on airing his episode for now and we are replacing it with the Raven Symone vs Ron Funches and Joey McIntyre vs Joey Fatone episode.”
On the now-shelved “Drop the Mic,” Danielle Brooks, who plays Taystee on “Orange Is The New Black,” faced off against Smollett in a battle and “American Idol” star Clay Aiken took on “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Sharknado” star Ian Ziering.
