a gem

I saw it as more than a song but exploration of entire universe. A hymn and expression of a magnificent artist talent. It is one of songs creating a real unique emotion , seducing for clear perspective about love, becoming, in decades, a self definition of the huge art of Whitney Houston and, some measure, of her biography. Short, using one of poor words, an authentical gem.

Warning: Spoilers
I Will Always Love You is pretty much one of the landmark and signature songs of Whitney Houston, and at the time it was released in 1992, I had no idea it was written and originally performed by Dolly Parton, so all credit to Parton for her massive hit. Anyway, I was moved to finally post an imdb user review of Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You when I read about some theater-goers being ejected from the stage musical The Bodyguard (with Melody Thornton in the role made famous by Houston) when they burst out in joining Thornton in singing I Will Always Love You. Anyway, after thirty plus years, this song lives on from one generation to the next.
