This documentary hit the mark

First-time filmmaker Edgar Antillon opened the discussion about the true root causes of gun violence. The documentary was successful in weaving personal stories, cultures and brought light to what is a controversial issue in communities all across America.

The first reasonable step in Gun Control
contact-847238 January 2018
Gun Control is a divisive topic. In Rhetoric: All Talk. No Action. we see the framework of control starting to be exposed through some of the strategies employed by both sides. Along with the framework we are provided with real world examples which shows how Gun Control hurts a free nation, often times in areas where Americans have been willfully ignored, or abandoned.

I have only one critique, and that is that the movie isn't as polished as other documentaries. This however is irrelevant. If someone uses it to discredit the film, they betray the fact that they do not value substance.

If they want to argue the facts in the film, the discussion will start. If the framework which it present is understood by every American, Gun Control in its present form will significantly change, and probably die a quick death.

Thus, it is a movie which strives to tackle a difficult topic, and starts a productive discussion on the subject. I would love to see a follow up further exposing the political involvement with keeping certain parts of the citizenry oppressed.

Regardless of what your thoughts on guns are, this is a must watch. Great job getting past the politics, and finding the real problems.
