- In Kattegat, it seems Ingrid and Gunnhild are eligible to succeed Bjorn on the throne of of Kattegat until Harald Finehair returns, invoking his right to the kingship as all Norway's elected king. Seeing Ingrid performing a ritual in Bjorn's mound convinces Erik she must be a witch. In Kyiv, Ivar is prevented from seeing prince Igor by Oleg's guards, including Hvitserk, who claims Oleg treats him well and is the future ruler of the world and in a fight beating Ivar a bloody face. Oleg later offers Ivar to have Hvitserk killed. Katia secretly gives Ivar a blade and tells him that Prince Dir is ready. Ivar secretly informs his brother Hvitserk Oleg offered to kill him, convincing Hvitserk to join Prince Dir's coup. While Oleg attends the Good Friday ceremonies, finally receiving a bishop from the patriarch, Katia sneaks Igor out of the palace so Ivar and Hvitserk can attempt to sneak them in a horse-drown hay cart past the gates, but Oleg realizes that Igor is absent from the ceremony. An Atlantic storm hitting Ubbe's expedition washes Torvi's daughter Asa overboard, freaking after 'seeing' sea monster Jörmungandr.—KGF Vissers
