One gets a true sense of the absolute void and emptiness of spirit amongst those closest to Kurt during his life. In some ways it becomes better to understand why Kurt likely took his own life. This documentary is dark and sincere in its portrayal of 90's grunge rock/new wave in the Pacific Northwest at that time. It's an oddly simple feature while fascinating at the same time. Well done. I
