Terms and Conditions was originally made as part of a 24-hour film festival. It wasn't completed in time, so it was never submitted and was only shown to friends and family. The re-make (this version) was all re-shot, except for most of the running scenes, about six weeks later.
During the unboxing scene, the Runner swipes several shoe display screens that aren't clearly visible. These include, "Disco" and "Disney". The large white round spot is an outline of a mirrored ball and the next swipe reveals something that looks like the Disney castle.
It was so hot on the day of the track scene ("feels like" was 106° F), Jackson Coates burned his knee while briefly kneeling on the track. The heat waves can bee seen in the second shot at the track.
