With Christopher Halliwell behind bars. The story moves to the misconduct and malfeasance case against Stephen Fulcher.
Karen Edwards meanwhile wants the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 to be amended and show her support for Fulcher.
Martin Freeman does well in showing Fulcher's confusion, embarrassment and then contempt against the police over the course of this episode. He is escorted off the premises in an unceremonial fashion. His superiors who supported him are now talking against him during the enquiry.
Fulcher survives but his career has been curtailed and he sees no future in the police force. Karen Edward's own campaign proves to be fruitless.
I do think this was a less dramatic episode, maybe even unnecessary. I would have said the series should had been wrapped up at this point.
