- TriviaThe episodes title is a reference to "The Bob Newhart Show". The phrase "Hi Bob," became the source of a popular drinking game with college students during the run of the show. Whenever someone on the show says, "Bob," each player had to take a drink. If someone said "Hi, Bob," you had to guzzle your drink.
- GoofsAt one point Danielle Poole throws a metal box to Ed Baldwin, and it doesn't drop at all. The Moon's gravity is lower than Earth's, but it's not nonexistent, so the box should have dropped somewhat lower.
- Quotes
Edward Baldwin: I'm not going to abandon this base or our mining operations to the Russians. They'd strip Jamestown of every piece of technology they could get their hands on. I will stay until properly relieved by the crew of Apollo 24.

Where's the sci-fi?
Emotionally unstable violent men who must be taught how to act by women (yes even the 'best of the best' astronauts), homophobia, sexism, mental illness. They are the themes of this show. The sci-fi is way back in the background. When i'm watching some tense scene on the moon, dealing with the horror of survival in a totally inhospitable environment, with the added threat of the competing Russians (which by this episode we still haven't seen any of at all) I don't want to keep switching back to people supping beer in a bar with a jukebox playing while discussing homophobia or sexism every ten minutes. It's destroying engagement in the show and its destroying the pace of the show.
Can we for once have a show which is actually about what it was presented as? And not one fifth homophobia, one fifth racism, one fifth sexism, one fifth toxic unstable men and finally, about one fifth actual plot?
