So, they threw the playbook out on being a somewhat sensible show with the episode and went fully insane, yet it was not all that bad. Still some entertaining moments, but the fight stuff was too much.

finally a perfect episode

The series often sustains itself and simply being comfortable and brilliant at the same time but until this episode never actually turned on the turbo boosters. Here the action, the writing, the acting all kick in at the same time. Wow.
Day Seven

An end of the journey for Meg. A day of reckoning for Lucky.
Meg has arrived at her mother's house, only for Lucky to find out Meg has no mother and frantically goes looking for her.
It is just that he has a stolen car and a pedigree race horse that went missing. The owner wants Lucky to pay in a bare knuckled contest.
The best episode so far, more focused as it's the penultimate episode. The quirky elements work better as well.
You also now believe that there is a genuine relationship between Lucky and Meg. It might be father and daughter or uncle and niece.
