Star Trek: Voyager: The Disease (1999)
Good ep... bad starfleet
Trying to control someone on their personal time. Tut.
Starfleet is about exploring and is for all intents and purposes voluntary. Even if it wasn't... certain things in life and implicitly out of bounds of companies and whatnot. They have no say (if you remember to stand up for yourself) in your personal life especially when it has absolutely no effect on what the company is doing. Or in this case Starfleet. Harry engaging in his hormones on his own time did sweet FA bad to Voyager at all.
Have a spine in life and stand up for things that are none of other people's business and it will all work out.
Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Pegasus (1994)
Weird romulan.
As well as the arrogant admiral. We get this smug "I would love to see this tosser get smacked" Romulan...
The Romulans are usually annoying anyway but this one is particularly. How would doing that help them in any way?
Seems they're in the area just for the sake of it.
Riker didn't do anything wrong though he defended the right course of action against the (as usual) unsympathetic admiral with psychotic tendencies.
Why did they uncloak next to the weird Romulan's ship anyway? Could have avoided a lot of problems if they faked escaping the asteroid or just left the system without revealing they found that cloak.
Doctor Who (2005)
Don't bother after Capaldi
Pointless virtue signalling for the sake of it without any care for the story making sense anymore.
Way to ruin such a good franchise.
2 star because can't do 0 and it used to be good.
Star Trek: Voyager: Random Thoughts (1997)
Planet of the fascist thought police
Yeah just ignore the intentions of those involved and lobotomise someone for uncontrollable thoughts.
Good episode otherwise, if it can anger a viewer then it's done its job.
