The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
People reviewing it badly are children or bitter.
People reviewing it badly are children or bitter. This is the middle movie in what's assumed to be a 6 part series, whilst not being "scary" this film does a fantastic job of both telling a captivating story while heavily delving into the past and the overall relationship of the Warrens. This gives the characters more depth and more meaning going into the final films. Just because this movie is different and has a different director, it doesn't mean it's bad by any means.
The Forever Purge (2021)
Building on bad foundations will continually get worse.
You can't keep building along a terrible plot expecting it to get better.
If a building has a weak foundation, the more bulding blocks you add, the weaker the foundation becomes.
It's the same with the Purge, a bad premis to start off with which continially gets worse as it's expanded upon.
The KSI Show (2021)
JJ really let down his fans with this one.
As a one hour stand alone show it was good to watch, however, to sell it to your fans for £15 whilst monumentally overhyping what to expect means you've pulled the wool over the eyes of millions of fans that support you.
This isn't bad enough to be classed as a scandle as it's clear JJ did put alot of effort and money into the production, overall though, it was a massive let down due to the price, runtime and how much it was hyped.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (2021)
Laughing at the "top review" from Edward.
Just left this here because Edwards review is hilarious and shows he's never played the game...
Leon always associated with heavy action? I think you'll find that's Chris mate!
Animation= great but the story is ultimately pretty forgetable.
The Decline (2020)
Utterly painful.
Horrendous from start to finish. This "documentary" has no redeeming qualities at all!
Derek (2012)
Incredible
One of the best shows made and criminally underrated.
Derek, once again, is another masterpiece from Gervais. It's a true demonstrstion of the world class abilities of Gervais as both a writer and an actor. This will make you cry in so many way and will, i repeat WILL, pull on every heart string imaginable.
Michael McIntyre's Big Show (2015)
Terrible
How michael Mackintyre was ever "successful" on TV is a mystery. The guy just isn't funny and he's painful to watch.
Bank Balance (2021)
Decent gameshow with an interesting gimmick
First of all I'd like to point out that I'm baffled at the people rating the show badly because they can't follow the rules. The game is incredibly simple to follow, unless you're a bit thick.
There's a numbered balance board in the middle of the studio, the computer will pick a number, this is where the contestants will need to balance there gold bars. With every round the contestants choose a category and chose how many gold bars, the more gold bars the more money but it also means a harder question and more weight on the board. Should they get the answer wrong then the gold bars are replaced with forfeits, worth nothing to the prize value but adding weight to the board. If the gold bars remain on the board by the end of the game then you've won that ammount. Should the bars fall then your game is over.
Simple to follow and easy to watch.
The King of Kong (2007)
Proven cheater
People do realise that Billy Mitchell is a proven cheater and compulsive lier right? You've all been fooled! Baffled how this rating is so high!
Joe Lycett's Got Your Back (2019)
The irony of Marks review led me leave one myself.
Joe Lycetts got your back is a show about confronting consumer rights issues whilst being entertaining and funny throughout. Joe Lycett is charasmatic, funny and serious in equal measure and bounces some fantastic comedic timing between himself and Mark, his Co host.
The irony of a mindless reviewer saying the show is mindless is hilarious. Well done Mark, 10 out of 10.
Grave Encounters (2011)
Slow to build but.....
OK, this film is slow to build but don't let that put you off.
For the first 30-40 you might find yourself thinking that this is just another, slow, boring, low budget found footage film but it isn't. When it gets good the pace increases, the horror intensifies and you find yourself both intrigued and scared at the same time.
This is definitely worth the watch for any fans of the genre!
Ash Vlogs vs Swurve (2018)
Interesting
Bobsurden obviously can't tell the difference between a documentary and acting.
Lee Nelson's Well Good Show (2010)
Excellent show
Not going to lie, I originally came here to laugh at all the OAP and snowflake reviews people have left who can't handle this sort of comedy because 'it offends them'.
This show is hilarious and it's ironic, those saying the only people to find this funny are brain dead, are the same ones that don't have the mental aptitude to grasp the concept of humour being subjective and just because you're a snowflake and get offended, in turn finding it unfunny, it doesn't mean that it's not.
Superstore (2015)
Baffled.
Baffled by these reviews. The only people that find these sort of sitcoms are kids and dumb people, oh... And Americans.
Save yourself time, if you're not dumb, don't watch it.
Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party (2016)
Dumb reviewers.
Some of these 10 star reviews are baffling and it just goes to show that some people will believe anything if it's put infront of them, either on a TV, or there phones screen.
There's no coincidence that D Souza has never recieved a rating over 8/100 for his 'documentaries' on Metacritic, why? Because people at Meta critic are generally intelligent and can see the blatant lies portrayed in this project from start to finish.
Joker (2019)
A truly sensational depiction.
Joker is a truly sensational dive into the back story of the Joker. A twisted look into his dark descent on the road to becoming the Joker. The character development is sublime with Pheonix playing an absolutely incredible version of the joker, matching his twisted insanity with scarily accurate acting. This is the back story the Joker really needed, away from all the CGI rubbish, and in with deep and dark story telling that keeps you on the edge of your seat! I also love the way a young Bruce Wayne was introduced, leading to the excitement of a potential sequel or appearance in the next Batman movie. The ending was also very very good and depicts how he became a legend amongst Gothams darkest.
The Doll (2016)
So bad that it's really good!
I don't speak Chinese yet It's evident how hilariously bad the actors are. The script is so inept that it makes you laugh at how bad it is and the CG is on the level of Birdemic.
I would describe this as 'The Room' of the horror genre.
It's so bad whilst trying to treat it so serious that it because a barrel of laughs!
Creep (2014)
Brilliant premis that could have been much better.
The premis of this movie is excellent and its clearly evident from very early in the movie why this movie is called creep. In my opinion I feel the acting is brilliant but the writers could have done alot more to make this movie live up to its promise. Questionable decision making also let's this movie down. It's definitely worth the watch but it could have been so much better!
Suicide Squad (2016)
Genuinely don't understand all the bad reviews.
This movie is action packed, funny and great to watch from beginning to end. I genuinely don't understand all the bad reviews. I'm usually very cinical when it comes to movies but this is excellent.
Lights Out (2016)
Best left as a YouTube short
I love David Sandjberg and have followed him ever since his Ponysmasher days on YouTube (check out their channel) where you'll find the original premise, a 2 minute short which is excellent!
It was always going to be incredibly difficult to make a feature length movie out of this short but he did the best he could, with the material he had, which makes it worth the watch. I'd definitely recommend checking out the original short on his YouTube channel as mentioned above as their's some great horror shorts to found there!
Kidulthood (2006)
Baffles by the bad ratings
I can only assume those giving a bad rating are blind, so up themselves that they think they're to good or something, or from a different country.
This is an accurate, gripping portrayal, of what life is like in the underbelly of many UK cities with excellent acting and a gripping story! This movie is fantastic!
Attack of the Adult Babies (2017)
Dark, twisted and hilarious!
Read the title, that's all I'm going to say as I urge you to watch this movie for yourself!
Benidorm (2007)
Genuinely one if the funniest shows you'll watch, just avoid the last 3 series!
Benidorm is a hilarious, light hearted and crude comedy show with loveable characters and is hilarious throughout!
Make sure to avoid series 7 Onward and you'll love this show.... Unless you have the personality of a stone!
