Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Massacre at Hawkins Lab (2022)
Hey There!
Who is Nancy talking to when she says "Hey There"? Why would she pause to give a terrible one liner to nobody while Steve is being choked out? Dumb lol. At least there wasn't any syncronized bullying again like that scene at the skating rink with Eleven. Completely forced and would never happen, just like saying "hey there" to a bunch of demon bat things while they feast on Steve.
Chicago P.D.: Ties That Bind (2019)
Very Forced
They perform an undercover op, out of state, at a gun show to catch the guys selling "cop killer" guns (any gun can kill a cop btw), yet they only send 4 cops, don't tell any security what they're doing, then 2 of them get taken hostage. Where are their tracking devices or their backup? Aren't they in the intelligence unit?
I love how episodes revolving any individual character immediately makes them dumber as soon as the plot starts. Kim and Hailey would never get grabbed that easily in an episode that didn't revolve around them.
Silly stuff. The 2 kidnappers are also really bad at acting bad lol.
For All Mankind: And Here's to You (2021)
This is dumb
Karen and Danny have 0 chemistry, he told her some silly story about her dancing to Elvis when he was a kid, then gave her a beer one night while at work and played a cover of the Elvis song, awkwardly danced up on her like a goon and then somehow turned her on enough to get her into kissing him. 😒
Next day he said sorry, she says sorry, then he gets invited to the basement for a quickie, once the quickie is over, he goes full blown crazy and wants to run away with her, says he loves her, then immediately gets rejected, fired, and booted out of the bar lol.
Absolute garbage episode. Drama for the sake of unnecessary drama. All good character development for these two is gone.
It gets even worse when she tells Ed what happened right before this huge mission to space, then won't even tell him who she cheated with, tells him they both need counseling bc of her mistake and because he only sees things as black and white, or yes and no, and then wants to sell the bar seemingly without Ed knowing.
Are people watching this supposed to like her? What's the angle here? She cheated on him with a teenager who is also her dead sons best friend and plans to sell the one place that is very close to her husbands heart....but Ed is somehow partially to blame for her being unfaithful and requires counseling.
Great writing friends.
The Rookie: Bad Blood (2021)
Please get better!
I love this show, but I find it hard to believe that the guy from the wedding singer has this many ties to the LAPD, and to the multiple cases/episodes where he is involved with the problem at hand. I also love how these rookie cops are doing detective work during their training year.
