CHAPTER 3
21 November 2019
Francis and Claire both are dealing and managing crisis in their professional life. Francis has promised to deliver on education reform bill, president's first hundred days commitment to correctly repair budget and schools across the nation. In episode three Congressman Francis Underwood is managing all administrative activities on bill and meeting with heads of teachers union, while he has to deal with a tragic event happened in his home district, from there he has started his journey as local leader to a prominent political figure. On the hand Claire is meeting with Gillian Cole (Sandrine Holt) and convincing that her together they can establish something but she has feeling of uncertainty about Claire present situation and her work beliefs. A seventeen years old girl died in terrible car accident, while driving and sending text she got unfocused by the strange design of a water tank. But how congressman get involve? It was built when he was a local leader so an old political rival setting accountability for district administration and congressman. It is quite funny and ridicules. Those who set other people accountable after something occur they get attention, it up to them how hard they hold ground in front of people like Francis Underwood. At his home district congressman (Kevin Spacey) is talking people into letting him work for them because their leader knows and understand them. And here what he conveyed in a church hall full of people that our ability to understand something should not come in between what god has already decided for us, we can be angry on a tragic event that happens in our life and hate other people but there is his point, we have capacity to love others without questioning his plan. "What you have to understand about my people is that they are a noble people. Humility is their form of pride. It is their strength; it is their weakness. And if you can humble yourself before them they will do anything you ask". What can be basic understanding for this, it is like he is putting his ego aside and showing insignificant side of his character so that people take him as noble as they are. Zoe Barnes gains reputation on base of lead provided by Francis Underwood. She also gets her own space.

How cruel the quest of power can be.
21 November 2019
President wants education reform bill on floor in hundreds as he promised on his inauguration day and Francis promise to deliver this, but as he decided to severe punishment for those who betrayed him, for what he was promised and now he has decided to pick them one by one let them see how cruel the quest of power can be. Here he just wants to minimize the distance between him and the source of power as present situation says. In this episode Francis begins necessary dirty moves. Michael ken nominee of secretary of state Francis framed him as controversial and deceptive choices of secretary of state. In order to do this he use Washington heralds ambitious reporter Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) and she gains reputation. On the other Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) is also making tough choices. Remy Danton (Mahershala Ali) lobbyist work for corporation tries to remember Francis that there are promises and millions on board. Before corporation takes their support back he has to sort out his situation. Francis says that he has no respect for those who choose money over power. Almost every person in the city makes this mistake where everything is about power. I enjoyed episode two. British author Michael Dobbs has created House cards (Novel) political thriller published in 1989. It was sort of no.1 bestseller later this book has a television and radio adaptation which was aired on BBC. I literally have no experience of these previews adaptations HOC but novel format is looking reasonably interesting to me.

"We like powerful people because somewhere we also want to be powerful in our life"
20 November 2019
When i have made my mind in November this year that i should start this high rated political drama not because of its popularity on internet, people are talking about its engaging story line and some creative stuffs and all that, but i started HOC S01 just because of one person Kevin spacey. Honestly i have not finished this season yet i have spent six hours long way to go. What here i am writing is about Chapter one. Yes this is fairly long season thirteen episodes, for me eight more to eat and digest. I found chapter one sufficiently interesting to finish this season one. "i found" because i like to watch Political Drama cause it somewhat interesting and attractive as this show is about we like powerful people because somewhere we also want to be powerful in are our life. This is my line because it came in my mind after watching three episodes. I know it's funny. As Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey) says "power is a lot like real estate. It's all about location, location, location. The closer you are to the source, the higher your property value. I have not believed it but i cannot ignore it completely, it looks fair to me that can think over it and try to find some sense in it. As i have enjoyed this episode let me try to write a quick review. Here Francis and Claire Underwood both hoping for a big year they have ahead. Twenty two in congress and as an effective majority whip Francis Underwood knows where the wind is blowing so i decided to support a man who became popular people's choice President elect of nation and there is always a promise which was Underwood as secretary of state. But as you know they do not keep their promise, Francis asked stay in congress and this change in circumstance affect Claire equally. Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) has running an organization expecting some private funds but not now. Thus Underwood's choice to plan their retribution. Francis decided to use any mean and Claire too. It seems enough for me talk about the plot at least for chapter one because if you knew full story before watching movie than what is the point of watching than. It is over. You are going ruin every minute of your watching period in thought that you that. Apart from Underwood's there are a number of interesting characters to follow in this episode, such as Doug Stamper played by Michael Kelly. He works for Francis Underwood as his right man. Zoe Barnes Washington herald reporter played by Kate Mara. Yes i have said that i started HOC S01 just because of one person Kevin spacey, that was the primary reason. I am moving on to next episode.
