Animal Horror Story

Absolutely unnecessary to the story and makes me wanna stop watching. Completely gratuitous to absolutely no sane person. The dog, the squirrel... Does it need to be so graphic and offensive? I'm no dainty Karen, but I also know that I want focus on the story, not the blood.

Never.
12 July 2020
I have never in my life raced to write a review for a TV show. Yet, here I am...

I don't cry at shows. I've had enough trauma in my real life to be mildly touched by many TV and movie scenes but Viola Davis and the cast surrounding her are astoundingly talented. Most people can start to figure out who is guilty of what with most series driven television but this show kept me guessing 99% of the time. I just finished the last episode and exited my bedroom in tears. my husband and children are astounded and my husband is now pulling up the TV show to add to his personal list of things to watch.

Watch all six seasons. You will not regret it, and the end will leave you quite satisfied. Kudos to every cast member.

Acting

I like the premise of the show and the situations presented are very interesting, but it is more than clear that a considerable amount of the content is scripted. It's just not believable, sorry. I've seen better acting at my elementary age kids school plays.

Three generations enjoyed this movie.
27 May 2006
My mother and my son joined me this evening to watch this movie. I really expected this to be a kids' movie, with some base/bathroom humor. My mistake! I was afraid that it would be more "Scooby Doo" than "South Park" style, but there was a very comfortable combination of the two, minus the bad words. The writing was impeccable, and the humor provided true belly laughs for each of us. The timing was fast, the quips hysterical, and even the "bonding moments" were too delicious to miss. The animation was amazing, and I just couldn't believe how much fun we had at a "kids" movie. I'll definitely buy this when it comes out. Take your parents and your kids. You'll love it. Now... pass me a cookie.
