Der Mann von nebenan lebt! (2005 TV Movie)

Excellent Suspense
23 June 2006
I saw this movie on T.V while over in Germany and thought it was well written and acted. There is a lot of suspense involved which resulted in some seriously spine tingling moments. The actors are all impressive as in the first one which i thought was also excellent. There lies its problem it is way too close to the first installment. Another excellent thing about this movie is the community feel of the whole movie. The two main actresses are very believable as the kind of detectives and Alex Milberg plays an excellent role as the nice yet creepy man next door. This movie is a little strange with subtitles and even when its dubbed as it loses some of its impact and humour during the traslation. But still i recommend this movie to everyone who wants to see a great piece of mystery/suspense/action.

Good movie elevated by awesome action.

This movie has to be the most entertaining thing i have seen all year even though i still think the first one was better. But moving it to Tokyo was a smart move as this brings a fresh atmosphere. Some of the acting was terrible but what do you expect. Lucas Black is a likable replacement for Paul Walker and Bow Wow does okay. Some of the Japanese actors are really good, but the real stars are the cars and boy do they look good, they go from show ponies - twink's car to awesome drift cars- Han's car. The action sidepieces are totally amazing the action goes from good to great through the movie. Over all this is an awesome popcorn movie and i recommend it to everyone just for the action and the big surprise at the end!! 10 out of 10
