I was little skeptical but I watched the second episode and I liked it.

• I really liked the score. It catches the vibes of the old one and mixes it with modern elements.

• Special effects are for a tv show excellent.

• Acting of Ahsoka and Witch are little off but still ok. - I liked the sith duo. Well chosen actors.

• Story, so far so good. At least not another death star :) . I don't think it will be as good as andor but still interesting.

• Please hire someone good for the fight scenes with light sabers and let the actors train more. If the actors can't do it, make it shorter but more impact full. This episode it was little better but still there is room for improvement.

It's better than Obiwan.

Shots look cool.

Score and sounds are ok.

Actors look amazing.

Fight choreography and cuts are bad. Tiktok influencers can do way better than what you get in the first episode. They just don't know how to make it. They need support there.

Story is okay but not even close to Andor.

Andor makes you care and feel so many emotions. For now you can't compare them.

I'll watch the next episode.

This part is about imdb. Why can we not give short feedback on movies. People hate long comments/reviews/articles. That's why we are here and not reading some expert. 600 words is like an essay homework that you copy over from chatgpt. Please reduce it. 100-200 words are more than enough.

It's plain bad.

One of the most powerful Jedi, Obiwan, is pictured as weak person with a horrible attitude.

Darth Vader looks like a lego character, nothing like the intimidating RO scene.

CGI and VE are sometimes ok but most of the time B-level.

Writing is a mix of Mando+Yoda (Obiwan + Leia) and Cal Castis story executed in a boring way.

Directing is bad. There is no memorable scene, even though We had the long waited reunion.

Where are the talented people? Don't discriminate people by their race, social status, personal preference ... . Just hire talented people.

All disney marvel tv shows were boring, so I was ready to hate this show. However it was fun to watch. Yes it's a show for teenagers like waverly place with selena gomez but surprisingly fun.

The only thing that doesn't fit is that she's a captain marvel fan. I don't know if anyone likes her. Even Gamora would be a better choice.

Was is it good? Yes.

Can it be better? Also yes (especially the cgi) Do I want to watch more? Also yes.

Are there any other sci-fi shows on this level? No.

Does it need more people and budget? Yes.

It's very well made and congrats to the whole team. Especially the differentiation between John and AI Master Chief was a genius idea.

Completely unrelated; from what I can see: if they wanted to make a good mass effect tv show, they would need a lord of the rings level budget; that would be amazing.

It's the first time it felt like a true sci-fi movie/show.

Story is well woven.

CGI has improved a lot.

Acting and soundtrack was good.

Even without action scenes the story was never boring.

Spartans look cool. Kai fits perfect in her role.

The tension between hayley and MC is done very good.

But the Madrigal team needs to work on their green screen / color matching or they need more stuff.

I can't still get the feeling of exploration from this show. They are finding the second key stone, I'm like: ok it was in a cave now what. As an example could be Inception. They enter the dream world and you want to explore everything there. Here they change worlds and I feel nothing. They have to work on that to make this a masterpiece.

First of all it's a good show.

I'm not am expert but something is missing to make this show great. My hypothesis is that writers are from the movie industry and not from the tv show. They don't know how get people hooked in a single episode and keep them hooked so people are interested in the next episode. Even if the show is great as a whole if you loose viewers in between it will be canceled.

Another method would be to release all episodes at once. That's why I'm not optimistic about this show.

They didn't repeated the mistakes from the first episode.

Everything was on point. Acting is good. I already hate Hayley and don't know why. I just have to get used to the saddle gestures of the little girl but it enriches the story and fits very well. There are some harsh cuts which makes hard for actors to convey their feelings.

Overall very good sci-fi . I'm hooked. I was so bored of mindless Fortnite style stories.

It's not a masterpiece but compared to star wars boba fett it's a masterpiece.

Disney couldn't even come close to this level of quality in writing, directing, setting ... hopefully amazon also gets the other star trek show.

SW nowadays relies only on fan service. I hope this doesn't get influenced by it.

We had more action but It was boring compared to the last two and I don't know why. It could be that all aliens looked too much like a pupet and the skin had no translucency, so they looked fake and it triggered me. The lame power ranger bikes also triggered me. I didn't and couldn't care about anything in this episode. It's like a tv show for people with a very low IQ. I'd understand it if it were 80's and the people never watched high quality scifi before.

We watched original star wars, star trek, fifth element, A. I., minority report, matrix, great super hero movies, Wall E, Avatar, Inception,Tron, Guardians of the Galaxy, Interstellar and watched hundreds of good tv shows like west world and read thousands of good sci-fi novels. Our expectations from star wars is higher compared to the 80's; visually and for the content. For me, I'm becoming less and less interested in SW because of these. For example I'm interested in the second season of Foundation but not in Bobf or mandolorian. Foundation was not great but it was fresh.

To answer the question, why is it like this? From my personal experience it's because you don't have the passionate and talented people in charge because of some old people in the management or the people can't work on the real thing because of they don't have enough people and have to do other things and can't concentrate on the job or because of some chuckles they put on them and they aren't allowed to do what they really wanted to do.

The vision is better compared to the latest movies but unfortunately not enough. Some radical change is needed. What Nolan did with dark knight to Batman shows, it needs to be done to the star wars universe. Good luck. It's hard too make good decisions but that's why you're in the management.

We want this. Get rid of Bobf.

In my opinion it's not fan service if they create a new interesting plot line with the old characters. The mood is little bit darker, which i like. The training was little bit harsh but ok. Overall good episode of a tv show.

From the start to the end: it's good.

Every detail is on point. For example, you don't learn how to fight with a light saber instantly and so on.

My fear is; if you connect this good show with the bad bobf-show, you'll also taint Mandolorian.

If they admitted that bobf is just a filler and done everything in a smaller scale. Like a mini goal, learning how to be kind or getting attracted to the good side or he wants to be immortal and is chasing a crazy underground doctor. If they they Said that bobf is just a filler show for fun, nothing serious, juniors are experimenting. Seniors are working on the main show. Just be patient. Then it's ok to make. Like instead of behind the scenes episodes we get some fun mini-series done by talented juniors. An episode for bd or something like that.

They should release the rest and get over it. With some good ideas bad executed boring tv show. This episode tries to explain why for example over guy is soft but I don't buy it and also there is no room for char development, for remorse / enlightenment.

The guy who wrote this show needs a break. It looks like if he used all his good ideas up and none left.

They got the basics right compared to many other new tv shows but something is off. I get too much depression vibes.

It could be only me but the message that this show delivers is: I can say anything and do anything but I'm not bad. Others think that I'm bad but I'm good looking cute sad person.

I think writers have some covid depression and are using this show to let it out.

Improved compared to Ep1. The story is still boring but there is 30 seconds were it's get interesting.

I don't understand the motivation behind the main character. Is he nicest guy in all universe or why is he like that.

I never saw any scifi from turkey. For their courageous attempt I'll give them 5 stars.

However they violated every rule of making a sci-fi tv show. Making a scifi is very difficult. If there is not enough budget, even a tv show like Boba Fett will struggle.

Rules: 1. Your budget decides how far to the future you should go.

2. People have to have immersed in your world. True for every movie. That's why, if something looks animated don't put it in the film.

3. Limit the number shots with cgi but let them be awesome.

4. hire some scifi nerds & engineers. Everything from the future should make sense. Suits with cables in a fight? Big guns in a close combat? If you can't do it, just use normal gadgets. People will assume it's not developed yet.

5. Dont forget: to hook up people, build your story around someone. Love/vengence like in Braveheart. World war topics are secondary; don't focus on them; people don't care.

For this show: 6. Make dialogs so that everyone can understand and care. Most of the time I've no clue what they are talking about or they are giving some advice like a parent. Show your teachings through action and not words.

7. Focus. You spent your budget showing a battle that no one cared about it. You're trying to use complex sentence structure in language that you just learned. Ground your ideas.

Assumption (could be completely wrong): There making a movie like a philosopher. They have ideals. They write a story about it and putting some action in it, thinking people will care and feel emotions.

If you're making a movie , the order should be the opposite. First you have to think how to emotionally move people. What actions create this emotion? Can I create an interesting story around it and finally can I put my ideals in it.

Don't give up.

Here are some tips how turks can get better at historical dramas.

1. Bad characters are flat. They are just bad. Their character, religion, believes and ambitions are just bad. They have to be grey and also worst defeating. There is one exception. There is always a women, who they convert and marry. The writers have european women complex. They want to justify why they married european women in real life. Otherwise it doesn't make sense.

2. you can't make all dialogs like a parental advice.

3. What makes battles great is not slashing. You have to tell the strategy, ambush, tactics. We have to root for the strategy to work.

4. The hero's they create are born great and are never wrong. They don't need any advice or help or to work together. A true hero would loose hundred times but stand up again until he succeeds. Train like crazy. Work day&night. This would be good role model. Their heros are just lazy and arrogant.

5. all plot branches need consideration. You have to assign for every branch a writer, who thinks about why the character (bad/good) do certain things. Their realistic ambition, which actually makes sense.

6 l. Details make movies great. Make every scene count. For example if you let a character forge a sword; don't just put all characters there; put a story behind it. Like trying to make a sword for his sultan but fails to make it great. Tell a story about why does he fail, how can he get better. Thorough his spies he gets the info and they win the wars. Side story of a side story but you let the audience care about the how a sword is forged; and hire experts to make it realistic and interesting.

7. make it shorter and better, less slow motion and glaring at each other.

Tbh, this show has a better budget and is little better than other turkish historical drama. Compared to destan this has a better set. Destan has better actors and idea but low budget and more amateur.

TBH I don't care about mandolorian, jango/boba fett. All I want from star wars movies too watch a good story in SW universe.

The only good thing that the props are little better than in mando.

The first episode is weak. The storytelling is weak. It's already telling a story about an old character and the whole episode is full of flashback's. The first 10 min feels like a disney land vlog.

Can they not find a talented person/group? Probably disney is for talents not attractive anymore.

It's time to be realistic. SW-universe is out of their league. What they don't get:

Marvel/DC have heros and they have to build the universe around them and recycle the story again and again.

Star wars gives you an universe. Ground rule is it's in the future and there is the force. You have unlimited number of planets and you can tell unlimited number of stories. You can tell a story like in interstellar, inception, matrix, dexter, james bond, arcane, ... and it would fit. Instead they recycle stories and characters. Instead of going forward they do something like high republic. Pre-pre-prequel.

Hire the people from west world/arcane. At least their cinematography is better. Only Nolan brothers can turn the tide. Even if disney change the plans they would hire snyder. You'd get a good trailer and more disappointment. My feeling is that they think, that star wars is overhyped and to earn the money without risk they have to milk old stories and characters.

In my opinion Lucas should create a new universe with his team. It would be more interesting than this.

Just disappointed.

Idea is good. How they handle the story is just bad. Too many very simple coincidences. The story is stuck in a small fake palace. Only the clothes and actors are good. They don't know write and shoot. I'd recommend to hire at least korean writers. Compared to dong yi this is amateurish.

It started very weak but gradually became good. Depending on the next episodes I can change my review. For now 8 stars because I'll give them the chance to build up the world.

It's similar to LoR but that's not a bad thing. I'd like to have more of this genre.

My advice is don't stop watching until you have seen 5 episodes.
