Return to Never Land (2002)
A Decent Sequel
I bought this in a buy 1 get 1 free deal and just got round to watchimg it today, and to be honest - its not that bad.
Wendy has now grown up and World War 2 breaks out so to protct her children from the horror Wendy tells stories of Peter Pan.
Her oldest Jane stops believing in them until Captain Hook mistakes her for Wendy and kidnaps her.
For a sequel it isn't that bad and it better then Jungle Book 2. Its worth 1 watch at least
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
The 1st Ever Disney Film
This is the 1st Disney animated film and one of the best.
The story is the Queen is well jell of Snow White and plots to murder her so she runs away and meets 7 Dwarves.
There has been plenty of dirty stuff to come out of that situation but this isn't the dirty version.
The dwarves a loveable and the songs are legendary. Also the queen was well sexier than Snow White and Snow White was a bit dim... in the oh a man lets run away like a child before my womanly brain explodes
Ri¢hie Ri¢h (1994)
An Enjoyable Kids Film
I remember my mam buying me this on VHS for Xmas. So I have always liked it.
Maculy Culkin is quite good in this and he plays a rich kid who's parents are in a plane crash and he decides to get his own back on the bad guys
The bad guys are bad and the main bad guy is a slimeball. I love the butler and him in biker clothes is quite funny.
Well worth a watch
RocknRolla (2008)
A Good Crime Comedy
I saw this at the cinema and I liked it then. Watching it now I saw quite a lot of decent actors it.
There are a few stories running side by side like there was in Snatch.
Story 1: is about a painting that goes missing and gangsters are looking for it.
Story 2: There is a singer that takes the painting and can't give it up
So it's quite funny, not as good as Lock Stock or Snatch but it's watchable and quite funny.
The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
One Of Leo's Best Films
I actually enjoyed this, the stuff Jordan got up to was extreme and quite funny.
Its about Jordan Belfort who rises up and becomes a millionaire stock broker and starts enjoying the money too much.
Leo is brilliant in this and I am surprised he didnt win an award.
Ali G Indahouse (2002)
We Want Ali G As A PM
This has mixed opinions but I found it quite funny. We need a PM like Ali G.
Some of the things I found funny was when Charles Dance said he was a batty boy etc in the House Of Lords. There was quite a few well known actors in it too.
So rather then listening to the bad reviews, give it a go you might like it.
And remember the PM's building has been taken over by a massive dong thats even more eviler than Skeletor
Pretty Woman (1990)
Take This Review As A Comedy Review
When this came out I was 7 yrs old so I saw it a few years later.
For a Rom Com.I actually liked it and I only like a few Rom's.
In this Julia Roberts plays a Prozzie called Vivian and she meets Edward (Richard Gere) who spoils her for the week they are together and they.... guess the rest. Yep you guessed it - he murders her and uses her face as a mask to go on a giant killing spree lol.
There is 1 thing I noticed, on the cover Gere's hair is jet black but in the film its grey.
All in all its a decent film.
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
They're Coming To Get You Barbara
"In 1968 you were terrified by a tale of unimaginable horror"
The 30th Anniversary Edition is the version I watched as it came with the Trilogy Of The Dead box set and I liked the new trailer music.
It starts with 2 people putting a body in the back of the truck and there is a driver moaning about him all the way to the graveyard, it sounded cringy.
Other than that its the proper Romero film and a classic, but it starts and ends with new footage that doesn't look right.
The film is about the dead coming back to life and trying to get to a group of people locked in a farm house. Inside the farm house the people can't get along and that's all I will say about the story.
This wasn't the first Romero film I watched. That was Dawn then I saw the remake to this before I watched this film.
Without the new footage its a classic, so track a copy down and watch this tale of unimaginable horror.
Dawn of the Dead (1978)
One Of The Best Zombie Films Ever
This was the 1st zombie film I ever watched and I remember lending a VHS video off a friend with this & Van Damme's Kickboxer on it.
It may be bias talking but I still think this is the greatest zombie film of all time.
The dead have taken over everywhere and the humans are fighting for survival. So a group decide to lay low in a shopping centre and all hell breaks loose.
The gore by Savini is awesome and it has some of the best death scenes ever. Even the legendary director Dario Argento produced it.
I have still yet to see a Dario film but if this is anything to go by then I'll be in for a treat. You need to watch this.
The Ring (2002)
A Pretty Decent Remake
I saw this in the cinema back when it released in 2002 and I haven't seen it since. I then saw this in a box set with the sequel at the charity shop for £2 and bought it.
I know this is a remake of the 1998 Japanese film I have yet to see.
The story is of a videotape that kills anyone that watches it a week after. A journalist's son watches the video and she has to figure out how to stop it.
The son is odd and has taken out of him in a Scary Movie film. The atmosphere is quite creepy and the long haired girl is quite scary to see. The only thing I hated was a well known TV scene was CGI'd and she crawled out too fast.
I would give this a watch.
