Article 370 (2024)
9/10
Watch this in theatres!
25 February 2024
Hats off to the director. They have covered all angles around Article 370 - political, legal, economical, social and security - all in 2.5 hours.

Great performances by Yami Gautam, Kiran Karmarkar and Arun Govil. The movie starts around 2015 seperatist insurgency and shows all important events in the valley in timeline upto the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.

The legal complications and intrepretations on the abrogation which not a lot of people are aware about, are also covered in the film on a surface level.

There are no masala dialogues or songs, and movie is gripping to the end through great acting, screenplay, bgm and direction.

Watch this with your family in cinemas.

Realistic action movie by Bollywood, Good performances.
14 August 2020
After a long time, an action movie from Bollywood that is sensible and realistic. Vidyut who plays the role of software engineer, isn't portrayed also as a great fighter, but a husband who does all he can to get his wife back. This is a different role for Vidyut and he has pulled it well. One star less for unnecessary songs which break the flow. Overall direction and screenplay is great. A must watch!

Every person to walk on this planet should watch this amazing documentary on the greatest sportsperson of all time - Michael Jordan. The documentary keeps you on the edge of your seat, inspires you, gives you goosebumps at times. Highly recommended.

I watched love story after a long time and I couldn't take my eyes off for a second, Sushant's presence is so charming throughout the movie, Sanjana has given a great performance for a debut. 9 stars because editing and direction could have been a bit better. Movie is also backed by great music from AR Rehman.

Average, only watch if you have got free time.

Plot is unique in cult genre. Poor direction, slow paced, mediocre performances, season could have been completed in 8 episodes. Abhishek Bacchhan fails to impress.

A must watch thriller by Hotstar!
25 June 2020
Just finished the 9 episodes and I am being honest, this is a must watch thriller, well-written, great script and supported by great performance from the lead Sushmita Sen. It might feel slow in between, but does catch up in the end. It is not fair to rate down the whole series based on a poor dialogue.

Brilliant series. It delivers great messages, sometimes the pace is slow, it's over-dramatic at times.

6 stars due to unnecessary propaganda and slow pace.
15 May 2020
Two stars just for the direction, storytelling, and performance by Jaideep Ahlawat. It was a good watch until it became clear liberal propaganda on Hindu-Muslim. Though the plot highlights the dark realities of our society, the liberal propaganda showing Muslims as innocents and victims of cruelty from the Hindu majority is repeated in every possible way and is clearly visible. The storyline has some major mistakes, like when the case is handed over to the CBI how the details of the suicide of Tarik were not passed, and how Hathiram didn't remember the lost diary for days in which he wrote notes from the case.

Disappointed, I wish we could get a political-crime web series with balanced views.
