The writers and director seem to have gone all out to push their hatred of Austrailian immigration policy into a movie.
So many opportunities missed here, its a complex, difficult, contradictory set of issues and circumstances...in the real world things are not this simplistic.
Two Kurdish 'victims' of very nasty authorities manage to travel across the world without passports and collect lots of tacky, expensive designer gear along the way. Happily oblivious to claiming asylum anywhere they go. Just being nice to everyone and living without money. The very nasty authorities lock em up.

I'm just not convinced, sympathetic or bothered by this candy coated fairy tale of obvious other agenda, might work with 3 year olds?
