Jim Harold's Campfire (2017 Podcast Series)
10/10
My favorite podcast.
29 January 2024
Jim is an exceptional interviewer and does a great job of asking questions that inspire viewers to share the most interesting details of their paranormal experience. He has been running this podcast for more than ten years and his weekly podcast releases are what I look forward to every Thursday. The intro music, the interviews, and the beginning commentary all make me feel cozy and and at home. If you are looking for a great mix of stories about UFOs, cryptozoology, strange coincidences, magic, etc. Jim Harold's Campfire is the place for you. I sincerely hope that Jim continues this podcast in the decades to come.

28 Days Haunted (2022– )
3/10
So stupid that it's entertaining.
26 October 2022
This show is actually so stupid that it's actually entertaining. One of my favorite parts was when they interview a part-time "demonologist" whose full-time job is a firefighter.

There's also an interview with a "paranormal investigator" whose trying to prove that this is a serious job, not a stupid hobby. Lmao, we all know this is a stupid hobby.

This show would be much better if it was marketed as a prank show where they convince people that they're staying in a haunted house when it's actually some random house with no real history.

I really hope these people aren't taking themselves seriously.

Way too corny for my taste.

I tried to give this show a chance, but it's way too corny for my taste. Yes, there are some mildly funny parts, but the humor doesn't land with me.

It's not my cup of tea, but I hope others like it.

The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022)
6/10
Underwhelming, but fun.

Warning: Spoilers
Robert Rodriguez's directing really took me out of the show. Every episode he touched just felt cheap. The writing was a little over the place and the story suffered from trying to tie in Mando's and Grogu's story at then end. I don't understand Boba's role as a benevolent crime lord. Aren't crime lords in charge of committing, you know, crimes?

What I did love about the show was Temura as Boba Fett and his relationship with the Tusken Raiders. I wish they spent more time on it. Although it really deterred from the overall story, I loved the two Mandalorian episodes. Bryce Dallas Howard really kicked it out of the park with her directing.

The show was fun and enjoyable, but very underwhelming. If there is a season 2, please keep Robert Rodriguez at least 100 parsecs away from it.
