The Simpsons: Trilogy of Error (2001)

An Episode in the Same Reign As 22 Short Films About Springfield
22 November 2020
This episode has three separate stories, following Lisa, Bart, and Homer, with Marge popping up to connect each of them together. This story is so intricately put together, utilizing lots of foreshadowing. It is so interesting to watch all three stories slowly cross paths until it reaches a pretty satisfying conclusion. This episode is brilliant and just as good as 22 Short Films About Springfield, if not better.

This Was A Meh Episode, Like Most Of Them These Days.

I feel like this episode was desperately trying to cater to today's audience, desperately trying to be modern. I think this episode had a very specific demographic in mind, people who play video games. I do not play video games, so therefore I found this episode very boring and skippable.

An Early Example of Wacky Humor Done Right
22 November 2020
This episode is really amazing, and very absurd, a quality usually reserved for the later seasons, but unlike the later seasons, this episode gets it right, being actually funny and not just desperately trying to be funny. The main villain of this episode is con man, Lyle Lanely, played expertly by the late Phil Hartman. The monorail song is so hilarious and very catchy. The humor is the episode is some of the best and most funny in any episode and there is a random guest appearance from Leonard Nimoy. Even though there is no clear reason for him to be there it is still really funny unlike some other guest stars I know of from the later seasons...

Best Sideshow Bob Episode Ever and Maybe the Funniest Episode Of All Time
22 November 2020
This episode is so great. It perfectly balances suspense with humor. There are so many funny jokes! This episode somehow makes someone trying to murder a child funny! This is also where the running gag of Sideshow Bob stepping on rakes originated and the first appearance of the Sideshow Bob theme which has appeared with him ever since which is why I think that this is the classic Sideshow Bob episode. This might be one of the best episodes ever and is definitely the funniest.

A Pretty Good Episodes
22 November 2020
I really enjoyed this episode. The plot with Bart, Homer, and Maude in Bart's dream was very good even if it made me hate Maude, and the last scene is exquisite. My only problem with this episode was that Lisa was acting so out of character but I'm willing to push that aside and I really recommend this episode.
