This is pure disinformation and libel. Stig Engström died before he could be prosecuted and before any conclusive evidence was even obtained. The Palme investigation was a fiasco, hence why they had to pretend they actually had "something" upon closing the investigation. Utterly unprofessional and ethically indefensible, investigators and filmmakers alike. His next of kin should sue everyone propagating this lie.

All the intense and somewhat intelligent build-up just got flushed down the toilet and the plot turned into something really cheap, unbelievable and uninventive, perhaps fit for some daytime network bread-and-butter series like JAG, NCIS or S. W. A. T. It's certainly no Homeland or anything above what suspension of belief is capable of overcoming. It's a totally different series as of this episode and now I have to deal with separation without closure.

However if you dislike having irrational marxist politics shoved down your throat, maybe you should give this one a pass. I enjoyed it anyway which I guess is telling of it's undeniable quality in most regards.

Without saying too much, the fusion between relatively sophisticated occult alt-history drama with stuff you'd see reruns of on free cable at noon (and I'm not talking about Buffy) just doesn't work and was very disappointing. Acting during the twist was also markedly worse than what is the case in the main arc. Still a very good series despite a finale that bombed.

The new episodes are absolutely terrible. A disjointed collection of intern-level comedic "bits". Something happened, I do not know what, but the series is gone.
