A Whitewater Romance (2024 TV Movie)

Love Hallmark....but
12 May 2024
Absolutely the worst plot and the cheesiest acting I've ever seen from Hallmark. Cindy Busby seemed very trite and fake the entire movie. The overall plot and theme of this show was confusing and never really explained well. There was no real chemistry between Busby and Hollingsworth. The other actors were just as bad with no real direction or believability. The only star was given for the scenery. I noticed Busby produced this movie and I hope that's not the reason it's so bad. She is normally well liked by me in most rolls she has had especially in Heartland. There is a lot of repetitive storylines on Hallmark. This definitely wasn't that but failed miserably at trying to find an alternative to those repeats.

Not a classic
1 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Small kids might like this between 3 and 7. Other than that very cheesy. Murphy must have needed the money. Overall story line is just corny and stupid. The miniature talking figurines are just silly and not very well done. The cast is a decent combination. All relatively good actors it's just too bad their talents weren't displayed in a decent imagined plot. The elf is depicted by almost a devil themed character and a sacrilegious remark was openly said. Story jumps all over the place between the plot and a normal family. One of those movies made for Prime that failed miserably. Just not a Christmas movie that gives a fuzzy feeling. Just one that makes you realize I just wasted 2 hours.

Paramount minus
15 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is a C class movie that I don't know how it ever made it on Paramount plus, I mean minus. Thought it was going to be a thriller but it turned out to be a laugher that was absolutely ridiculous. I got through 30 minutes of it. Really don't know the end and have no desire to know. Don't know if these were zombies or ghosts, or zombie ghosts, but the whole premise was done almost like a tongue in cheek type movie. I would hate to think they thought anyone watching would take this as a serious drama/ thriller. Like I always say...I watched it so you won't have to. To think they charge extra for Paramount plus is really disappointing.

Uneventful and boring hike in the snow
9 August 2023
Based on a true story and Hollywood couldn't make it more interesting than this? First of all. Why in the world would you make a film about an event that happened in Mt. Washington New Hampshire and film it in SLOVENIA? The wind and the temperatures are unbearable yet no one covers their face. Obviously so you can see the fine acting and pain on their faces. She not only rescues him way up on the mountain, he falls several times and she rescues him over and over. I'd be curious how many times Naomi Watts says ...Are you OK John? The best part about this movie is the ominous music played just before they show the advancing time of day. I watched it for you. Don't t waste one precious minute on this one. I suffered for you. Your welcome.

My Fault (2023)

Amateurish
21 June 2023
The worst acting and most juvenile movie ever. The 10 star reviews are obviously people who are trying to promote a very bad movie, and this is terrible. A bad imitation of fast and furious with absolutely no believability about it. Wondering why kids today act and behave so badly and this is exactly why. They think these characters are hero's when they aren't. Confusing from the start with rich people and gangs running in the same circles going to the same parties. The justification that this is entertainment for anyone is so misplaced. The total ignorance of the parents as to what these children are doing is laughable. It's total trash.

Chaos
10 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
There is way too much going on in a short amount of time. Divorce, losing kids, finding kids, finding your own kid after like 6 years. Getting fired, being rehired, Girlfriend leaves, Boyfriend is too patient. Voodoo police woman. In 2 episodes. Really. Some explanation is covered in flashbacks but overall show is chaotic and not very well acted. Caan is ok but the butt kissing ex husband doesn't fit him AT ALL. Lead female roll is very weak and super strong accent that sometimes can't be understood without closed captioning. The guy in the basement is down right creepy and not sure why they wanted him that way. Watched 2 episodes I'm done.

Love in Wolf Creek (2022 TV Movie)

Ridiculously amateurish
17 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Everything about this movie is wrong. The acting, the story, the believability of anything. This felt like maybe an 8th grade film class made this. The one plus side was some of the wildlife photography which probably was taken from something else. You can't crawl into a injured wolves den and patch him up with no problem. The woman falls into a maybe 6 ft. Hole and they can't get out. So they spend the night and the next morning the cowboy happens to find a rope in his backpack and lassos a rock perfectly without seeing it. Now they have to scale a 20 ft. Wall with little effort and the woman that initially had a severe ankle injury, shows no sign of it on the climb out. At the beginning an eagles nest had fallen to the ground with several eggs. The nest was laying on the ground perfectly intact with the eggs sitting in the nest perfectly after a supposed fall from a eagle worthy tree. I thought Hallmark movies weren't very good at times, but this movie makes Hallmark Oscar worthy.

Campfire Christmas (2022 TV Movie)

Why would you even make this movie?
17 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The most obscure plot for a movie ever. A camp in July to celebrate Christmas I guess because you want Christmas twice a year. I was kind of embarrassed for the actors going through their parts trying to make something out of this movie. The idea that this would have been a profitable business for several generations is ridiculous. The older couple running this camp, Payton's parents, were the goofiest thing in the movie. The over acting trying to make something out of nothing was off the charts. I really don't mind watching legit Christmas movies any time of the year but this was just way too much. I am actually writing this while I am watching it. It gets worse the further it goes. Don't think I can finish it, but I'll try.

Why make this movie?
1 May 2022
Watched this movie to see Darci Lynn sing....guess what? She didn't. She does have a song on the soundtrack that's excellent however. Most of the acting was absolutely TERRIBLE. I thought surely Diane Ladd would be decent, or at least wouldn't be involved in anything bad...wrong again. She's not good and her fake country accent was even worse. In fact I think most of the actors in this movie were faking their southerness. Can't believe I'm saying this but this movie makes Hallmark movies Oscar worthy. Darci Lynn got the 2 stars...everyone else zero.

The worst.

Laughable acting that was ridiculously bad. I question why in the world did Lou Diamond Philips agree to do this. He must have owed somebody big time for this.

Feeling Butterflies (2022 TV Movie)

Butterflies aren't free.
15 March 2022
I am a fan of most Hallmark movies, even those with repetitive plots and the same actors you see over and over. This one tries desperately to put and end to the repetitive plots, the stories centered around bakeries, book stores, diners and restaurants and farm or ranches. But competitive butterfly raising companies is way too much to handle. The actress in this is new but the Canadian Mounty from When Calls the Heart is not. It's great if you are a butterfly fanatic because it educates you about those short lived multicolor pollinators. However I'm not and I know no one that is. Terrible acting with a lackluster plot that no one should be able to get into, unless you've just inherited a butterfly farm.

This is entertainment?
5 May 2021
The worst acted movie I have ever seen. This could not even be classified as a B movie. Maybe a X Y or Z. Some of the scenes are absolutely laughable. The young boy acted better than any of the adult actors. Is this what the Pandemic created. Guess they renamed this from Anderson Falls to Darkness Falls, after they watched the entire movie. This is just crazy bad.

If you like high pitched nasally voices.
19 May 2019
Couldn't get too far into this highly predictable love story. Actually had to put the closed captioning on to understand what the leading lady was actually saying. The siren that was coming out of her mouth didnt sound much like words but I'm sure cars were moving out of the way. How in the world could you get a roll in ANYTHING with a voice like that. Scenery was beautiful.

Why are they still here
12 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I don't really know how this show is on the air, not by its obvious unpopularity, but by the fact that most of the women said they were leaving the country.if Trump won. Still waiting for that. Long ago this show should have been renamed The Slanted View. The spoilers here are these unhappy, biased, washed up women who have chips on their shoulders for NO good.reason.

Wasted my money
30 March 2014
Please don't waste your time... If you are a Christian and want to see an accurate and exciting account of Noah in the Bible forget it. Even if you are just looking for a good movie to watch with no religious influences at all forget it! Russel Crowe and Jennifer Connely act like they believe in what there doing but that's about it. I hope and pray that this movie won't deter those that believe this is the way it was in the Bible and not get to know Christ because of it. Think its real interesting how the word God was omitted from the entire movie. Really? A story from the book of God and you don't mention his name. Shameful indeed.

Pure Country is Pure entertainment
9 December 2005
This movies ending is clearly one of the best of any current movie whether drama or musical. Yes I am a man, one who likes action movies and thrillers, but if you don't get goose bumps during the last scene of this one your just not human. Strait turns in an impressive performance and Isabel Glasser is fantastic// Has she done anything as good since? I truly believe, even if you don't like country music you'll enjoy this one cause it's truly a feel-good love story. It was also good to see old Rory Calhoun, a lot older and a lot thinner turn in a good performance. I also own the soundtrack, and these songs are first rate if you are a Strait fan. Some of these classics still get play time on the radio.

Amanda Bynes gets better and better!
7 September 2003
Don,t know why this gets such a low average rating. Amanda Bynes is the cutest, and funniest actress to come along since Lucille Ball, and she gets a little better every movie. Kelly Preston is always great, and the rest of the cast did a great job. The music could be the best thing about this movie. A great soundtrack!

Finding Nemo (2003)

Pixar does it again !
13 June 2003
I have seen every Pixar film up to now, and I am 46 years old and a grand-father. Finding Nemo is just another fine family film, that had more adults laughing than children. Thats what is really so special about this film is that is has the great computer animation, and vivid colors, and cute voices thar are so appealing to the little ones. But it also has comedy and one-liners that maybe, just the adults or older kids pick up on. The comments of a blue fish, with short term memory loss are hilarious. Every Pixar film seems to be better than the previous, but each one of them endears itself to you in a way that you can't say one of them is your favorite. This film, if not my favorite would rank in the top 3.
